The eight-ounce container of chocolate mascarpone is back in stores for $3.99 through the end of the year.
Social media erupts as word spreads about the return
Reddit threads dedicated to the product exploded with excitement when customers spotted it back on shelves.
"No words, just Trader Joe's seasonal chocolate mascarpone," a TikTok user posted in a video that racked up 4,000 views showing someone mixing through the creamy spread.²
Trader Joe's describes it on their website as "a creamy, spreadable dessert cheese that can make your wildest Christmas dreams come true."³
The dessert contains just five simple ingredients – pasteurized cream, pasteurized milk, sugar, cocoa powder, and citric acid.
Customers can spread it on strawberries, crepes, cupcakes, or even bagels.
One Reddit user shared they enjoyed it with "hot honey popcorn, bread and a spoon."⁴
"The flavor is rich, without being bittersweet, or too chocolate-y," Trader Joe's product description reads.⁵
The chocolate mascarpone rings in at only 120 calories per serving with five ingredients you can actually pronounce.
