Tom Brady is the most accomplished quarterback in the history of the NFL.

Now he’s trying to figure out what comes next.

And Tom Brady made a decision about his future that left his former teammates feeling sick.

Tom Brady says that his days being roasted are over

Seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady is feeling some regret.

Netflix’s live and uncensored The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady saw the former NFL great get roasted by comedians, celebrities, and his former teammates with the New England Patriots.

But some of the jokes at the roast involving his ex-wife supermodel Gisele Bündchen hit too close to home for him.

Brady appeared on The Pivot podcast where he gave his thoughts on his Netflix roast.

“I loved when the jokes were about me,” Brady said. “I thought they were so fun. I didn’t like the way they affected my kids.”

The former quarterback said he wouldn’t do another roast.

“It’s the hardest part about, like, the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way and then all of a sudden you realize I wouldn’t do that again because of the way that it affected, actually the people that I care about the most in the world,” Brady said.

Bündchen was reportedly upset at the way some of the jokes involving their relationship affected their kids.

“It makes you, in some ways, a better parent going through it ‘cause again sometimes you are naïve,” Brady added. “You don’t know, or you get a little like, ‘Oh s***.’”

Brady went into the roast with eyes wide open.

He became a fan of them during his playing days in the NFL.

“When I signed up for that. […] I love when people are making fun of me. I always said when I was going through the Deflategate stuff (2015, 2016) that I watched three things on TV: Premiere League soccer, golf, and comedy shows,” Brady explained. “Every time I turned on SportsCenter, it was like, are you f***ing kidding me? I just want to laugh. I wanted to do the roast because Jeff Ross became somebody I knew. But you don’t see the full picture all the time.”

Comedian Jeff Ross is known as the roastmaster general.

Brady snapped at him during the event when he cracked a joke about Patriots owner Bob Kraft being arrested for solicitation of prostitution at an Asian massage parlor in Florida.

Charges were later dropped against Kraft.

Brady talks about the importance of laughter

The former quarterback said he would be a better parent because of the experience.

“And I do think for me, just outside of that, it always is good if we’re not laughing about things, we’re crying,” Brady explained. “And I think we should have more fun. The guys like, what did we love, we loved laughing in the locker room. Let’s do more of that and love each other and celebrate other people’s success. That, to me, gives everyone a lot of hope.”

It seems Tom Brady’s teammates got their one and only chance to crack a joke at their former quarterback’s expense on live television.
