Wednesday was Tim Walz’s big night at the Democrat National Convention.

But it didn’t go like anyone expected.

And Tim Walz stunned Democrats by leveling this harsh reality about Kamala Harris’ poll numbers.

Tim Walz admits Kamala Harris is losing

During his speech to the Democrat Convention accepting the party’s nomination for Vice President, Walz tried to assume the role of Eric Chandler, the high school football coach from the popular NBC TV show Friday Night Lights.

Walz framed his speech like pregame pep talk to continue the lie that he was the head coach of a high school that went from 0-27 to state champions in three years.

In reality, Walz was an assistant coach, and he never would have been the one giving the rah-rah Knute Rockne speech to the team.

Walz began his “win one for the Gipper” speech by admitting he and Kamala were down in the polls.

“It’s the fourth quarter. We’re down a field goal. But we’re on offense and we’ve got the ball. We’re driving down the field. And boy, do we have the right team. Kamala Harris is tough. Kamala Harris is experienced. And Kamala Harris is ready,” Walz stated.

Walz then used every football metaphor he could think of to build up to a shameless plug for campaign contributions.

“Our job, our job, our job, our job for everyone watching, is to get in the trenches and do the blocking and tackling. One inch at a time. One yard at a time. One phone call at a time. One door knock at a time. One $5 donation at a time,” Walz added.

Walz finished up by imploring Democrats to fight to the finish as time was running out because this election was more important than anything.

“Look, we’ve got 76 days. That’s nothing. There’ll be time to sleep when you’re dead,” Walz declared.

Polls and predictions mark shift to Trump

Normally, during a political convention, the party staging the pep rally gets a boost.

But during the Democratic National Convention, polls and prediction marks moved in Trump’s direction.

One explanation is that Kamala got what amounted to her convention bounce in the weeks after she entered the race.

Media outlets handed her what amounted to over a billion dollars in free media that was nothing but positive, propaganda coverage.

But convention bounces never last.

And Kamala Harris’ bounce could very well be receding, which means the election is returning to its default state with Donald Trump holding a slight edge.

But with the media in Harris’ pocket, it’s the Trump campaign that needs to run through the finish line like they’re 10 points behind.
