Joe Biden and the Democrats are attempting to hide their abysmal record heading into the Midterms.
They have been particularly bad on illegal immigration.
Now this top Democrat uttered five words about Biden’s border crisis that the Left is desperately trying to ignore.
Joe Biden’s border policies have made Americans less safe.
Human trafficking and drug trafficking are rampant, yet Biden has undermined border security at every turn.
The moment he took office, he reversed Donald Trump’s effective immigration measures.
Now even members of his own party are calling out Biden.
Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar of San Antonio made the stunning admission that “the border is not secure” in response to Vice President Kamala Harris’ unfounded claim that it is.
The Biden administration has attempted to paper over this fact with little to no effect.
Harris, who was tapped to oversee the border crisis, won’t even visit the southern border.
During an interview with Fox News, Cuellar said, “First of all, no, the border is not secure . . . When you have 1.7 million individuals last year, and now another 2.7, that’s over 4.5 million individuals encounter at the border, plus the – if you add the getaways, that’s going to be over 5 million individuals in just two years. No, the border is secure – it’s not secured and we’ve got to make sure that we have repercussions there.”
The 1.7 million encounters in 2021 were a record high, and that number has already been eclipsed this year.
Red state Governors like Greg Abbott, Doug Ducey, and Ron DeSantis have garnered the attention of the Democrats by sending illegal aliens to “sanctuary” jurisdictions in deep-blue strongholds like New York City, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.
DeSantis especially got under the skin of the Left when he sent illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts.
The Left were so incensed, NBC News quoted a Democrat activist at a left-wing organization that compared the illegal aliens to “trash.”
A Washington, D.C. councilwoman said that the red state Governors had turned the District into a “border town.”
The Democrats showed their true colors when they were forced to deal with illegal immigration firsthand.
Cuellar added, “I’ve talked to the administration a week before the December – this was in December of 2020 and I started telling the transition team in December of 2020, this is what’s going to be happening. You all have to be ready. And if we don’t have repercussion – we can be compassionate at the border, but you’ve got to enforce the law. And if you don’t return people, then this is what you’re going to have.”

Democrats believed they could pawn off the immigration problem to the red states, but the crisis has come back to bite them.
