Everyone knew that once Joe Biden became President, the media would treat him far better than they treated Donald Trump.
That was as much of a forgone conclusion as it could possibly be.
But this shocking study has found that’s not only true, but that the media treats Biden better than any President on record.
Pew Research Center is universally considered one of the most trusted research firms in America.
Across party lines, Pew is viewed as being one of the most down the middle, non-partisan organizations in existence today.
So when they release a study, whether it’s favorable to one side or another, people on both ends of the political spectrum take note.
Their most recent study focused on the coverage every President over the past 30 years has received from the so-called “mainstream” media, and when it comes to the way Joe Biden is covered, they found some shocking results.
After analyzing the media coverage of the first 60 days of every President since Bill Clinton, Pew concluded that Joe Biden and his administration have received the most favorable and least critical media coverage it has ever seen.
“While the media landscape has changed dramatically since Clinton’s presidential inauguration, the Center has been able to conduct a long-term comparison for each of the recent administrations,” Pew said.
Of the media stories on Biden, 27% have been positive, which ties the mark set by Bill Clinton in 1993 when the legacy media was all that existed.
Unsurprisingly, the corporate-controlled press also ran five times more positive stories about Joe Biden’s first days in office than it did about Donald Trump back in 2017.
While most of the coverage on Biden so far has centered around his ideology and agenda, Pew concluded that the majority of the focus on Trump during his first days in office was centered around the now discredited Steele Dossier, and its fabricated claim that the former President was associated with Russian prostitutes.
On top of that, Pew found that half of all media stories on Joe Biden and his administration so far have also mentioned Trump.
“Trump himself was mentioned in about half the stories about the new Biden administration,” the study stated.
While the fact that left-leaning networks like MSNBC and CNN are mentioning Trump in 50% of their stories on Biden comes as no surprise. What is rather shocking is that right-leaning networks are doing virtually the exact same thing.
The study found that there is “virtually no difference in the frequency of those mentions [of Trump in Biden stories] across outlets with left-leaning audiences (50% of stories), outlets with right-leaning audiences (47% of stories) and outlets with a mixed audience (47% of stories).”
Pew Research Center also studied how Americans currently perceive the way the legacy media is covering Biden and other topics.
Pew found that most viewers feel as though the media’s pro-Biden stories outnumber their stories critical of Biden by a four to one margin.
After surveying 12,045 adults, the study concluded that “the public’s sense of news coverage of the Biden administration is more positive than the study of the news coverage reveals.”
“46% of U.S. adults say that the early coverage they’ve seen about the Biden administration offered mostly positive assessments, far more than the 14% who say they’ve seen mostly negative ones,” Pew said.
Also of note is the fact that the study found that conservatives are far more likely to be informed about the Biden administration than the President’s far-left supporters.
The report stated that “Americans who turn only to outlets with left-leaning audiences [are] least likely to be following news about the Biden administration very closely (16%) – and their counterparts on the right almost twice as likely to do so (30%).”
But what is possibly the study’s most important finding is that most major news outlets do not deliver reporting on the issues that Americans believe are making the biggest impact on our nation.
According to the Pew survey, “the topic that the highest percentage of Americans say is getting too much attention” is racial inequality, while the media is not spending enough time reporting on the economy and illegal immigration.
You can basically sum up the findings of the Pew Research Center’s study fairly easily – the corporate-controlled press is failing the American people.
The so-called “mainstream” media owes it to the American people to give every President the proper level of scrutiny, especially one that is attempting to fundamentally transform the nation, and they simply have not done that with Joe Biden or his administration.
They are way too focused on pushing far-left narratives on race than reporting on the biggest issues the nation is actually facing.
The so-called “journalists” who love nothing more than to pretend that they are doing a crucial service for the nation are actually playing what is quite possibly the biggest role in its demise.
And as this study proves, the American people are beginning to catch on.
