Joe Biden’s allies are starting to say in public what they only previously dared to whisper in private.
There is no more time to beat around the bush.
And this shocking poll forced a top Democrat to make a game-changing confession.
Democrat strategist James Carville made his name guiding Bill Clinton’s successful 1992 Presidential campaign.
Carville has since turned into a pundit with a ubiquitous presence on CNN in the last 30 years.
The “Ragin’ Cajun” appeared on Abby Phillip’s CNN show and issued a dire warning to his party about Joe Biden’s political prospects.
Carville explained that over the last year he’s constantly sounded the alarm about Biden’s poll numbers and Trump’s chances of winning next year.
And Carville revealed that in private no top Democrat disagrees with him and their only complaint is that Carville is saying out loud what everyone knows to be true.
“Nobody is saying, ‘James, you’re wrong,’” Carville stated. “They’re saying, ‘James, you can’t say that.’”
Carville told Phillip his nervousness about Biden was passed on a sober analysis of the data, which contained no good news for the Democrats.
“I’m looking at polling data, and I’m looking at all of it. The President’s numbers are just not good—and they’re not getting any better,” Carville added.
“I talk to a lot of people who do a lot of Congressional-level polling and state polling, and they’re all saying the same thing. There’s not an outlier; there’s not another opinion . . . The question is, has the country made up its mind?” Carville concluded.
What set off the latest round of panic on the Left was polls from Bloomberg/Morning Consult showing Donald Trump leading Joe Biden in five of the seven critical battleground states.
