It’s almost been two years since Liz Cheney suffered a nearly 40-point Primary defeat in 2022 to Trump-backed challenger Harriet Hageman.
But Cheney’s hatred for Donald Trump is stronger than ever.
And this one photo of Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump sent Liz Cheney into a fit of rage.

Cheney longs for the days when RINOs like George W. Bush, John McCain, and Paul Ryan were in control of the Republican Party.
Cheney will do anything to get rid of Donald Trump.
She happily served as the Vice Chair of Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 witch hunt committee and even arranged the fraudulent testimony offered by former Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson.
Cheney paid the ultimate political price at the ballot box for helping Pelosi wage war on Trump.
Trump-backed Harriet Hageman destroyed her by nearly 40 points in the 2022 Wyoming GOP Primary.
But Cheney’s desire to get rid of Donald Trump did not end with her embarrassing defeat.
Her hatred of Trump has only gotten stronger over the past two years.
In fact, Cheney has such a bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that she attacked fellow RINO Mitch McConnell for attending a meeting with Donald Trump.
Last Thursday, Donald Trump met with Senate Republicans at the National Republican Senatorial Committee in Washington, D.C. to discuss the 2024 election.
After the meeting, several news outlets reported that Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell had agreed to put their differences aside and work together to defeat Democrats this fall.
“Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) appeared to bury the hatchet with former President Donald Trump on Thursday, giving him a warm reception as he spoke on Capitol Hill with Senate Republicans about the GOP agenda and the 2024 election,” the left-wing Huffington Post reported. “The two men even shook hands, a remarkable turn of events given their icy relationship after Trump sought to overturn his 2020 election loss, culminating in a violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.”
McConnell told the press that it was a “really great meeting” and that he and Trump “shook hands a few times.”
“He got a lot of standing ovations, it was an entirely positive meeting,” McConnell said. “I can’t think of anything to tell you out of it that was negative.”
This was the first time McConnell and Trump have spoken to each other since December of 2020.
And Liz Cheney is fuming over it.
In a post of X, she blasted McConnell for meeting with an alleged violent insurrectionist.
“Mitch McConnell knows Trump provoked the violent attack on our Capitol and then ‘watched television happily’ as his mob brutally beat police officers and hunted the Vice President,” she wrote. “He knows Trump refused for hours to tell his mob to leave and ‘even then with police officers bleeding he kept repeating his election lies and praising the criminals.’”
“He knows Trump committed a ‘disgraceful dereliction of duty’ and is a danger to our Republic,” Cheney continued. “Trump and his collaborators will be defeated, and history will remember the shame of people like @LeaderMcConnell who enabled them.”

McConnell and Cheney shared the same sentiment about Trump for the past two years.
Like Cheney, McConnell also accused Trump of inciting a mob at the Capitol and called him “practically and morally responsible” for the events that took place that day.
Of course, Mitch McConnell will stab Trump in the back the first chance he gets.
But his meeting with Trump is a sign that he knows the former President is polling well against Joe Biden and appears to be headed to victory.
And it shows that Liz Cheney is still holding on to her hatred of Donald Trump.
