The Supreme Court saw more change during Donald Trump’s administration than it had seen in decades.
Many on the Right believed the changes would forever change the Court’s makeup, and in some ways, they did.
But this most recent Supreme Court decision shocked people on both sides of the political aisle.
Democrats proved just what sore losers they can be after Donald Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett to replace Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
The reaction by the Left was immediate, and they began threatening to pack the Court.
Unfortunately for Democrats, the Court has had an interesting response to their threats, and even the more liberal justices don’t seem to be on board with the idea.
Recently, many Americans were shocked to see several unanimous Supreme Court verdicts.
It’s not common to see all nine justices agree on an issue, and to have it happen multiple times in just a few weeks is even more rare.
But there are many out there who believe the justices are trying to send a message to the Left and let them know that the Court functions fine the way it’s set up.
In the most recent unanimous verdict, all nine justices came to an agreement on the Court rejecting amnesty for illegal aliens covered under Temporary Protected Status or TPS as it’s often referred to.
One of the Court’s most liberal justices, Elena Kagan, wrote for the Court stating in part that federal law prohibits people who have entered the country illegally and now have TPS from seeking “green cards” in order to stay in the country legally.
Justice Kagan went on to write that “the TPS program gives foreign nationals nonimmigrant status, but it does not admit them.”
Many on the Left were incensed when the Biden administration defended a Trump-era policy of blocking illegal aliens from obtaining green cards.
Just goes to show at least someone on Biden’s team can read the law.
While the Democrats continue to push court-packing schemes – something many on the Left opposed prior to the Trump nominations – the Justices continue to push back.
Even liberal Justice Stephen Breyer has been vocal about his opposition to court-packing and what an absolute disaster it would be.
It’s thought that the continued unity of the Supreme Court Justices is their way of telling the left-wing radicals that packing the Court does not mean they’ll vote on partisan lines.
