Jerry Seinfeld is one of the most popular comedians in history.

But that couldn’t protect him from one of the harpies on The View.

And The View’s Whoopi Goldberg launched this sick attack on Jerry Seinfeld’s new movie.

Jerry Seinfeld directed his first comedy on the history of the Pop-Tart

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld has one of the most popular television shows of all time with the smash hit NBC sitcom Seinfeld.

Since Seinfeld went off the air in 1998, his focus has been on his career performing stand-up comedy and his interview show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Now he’s releasing Unfrosted on Netflix, a comedy film that he directed, co-wrote, produced, and starred in.

The movie tells the fictional account of the battle between cereal companies Kellogg’s and Post to release the Pop-Tart breakfast pastry.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan who plays Seinfeld’s boss in the movie, Edsel Kellogg III, appeared on ABC’s The View to promote Unfrosted.

He said that he knew Seinfeld was working on the idea for Unfrosted for a long time and that he hoped to get a part in the movie to work with the legendary comedian.

“I’ve known Jerry for years, and during the lockdown, he told me that he was writing this script and then when he sold it to Netflix, I had to stay in that position of the friend that wasn’t asking to be in the movie,” Gaffigan said. “I had to hold myself back.”

“I’m like, ‘How’s that going?’ In the back of my mind, I’m like, ‘Where’s my damn part?’ . . . Then he turned around and he offered me a part, so I was very excited,” Gaffigan added.

Co-host Ana Navarro joked that a lot of people are trying to get parts in highly anticipated movies these days.

“You have no idea the amount of people that come here that want to be on Sister Act 3,” Navarro remarked.

Sister Act is a series of comedies starring one of the show’s co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg.

Out of the blue, Goldberg decided to play the race card against the show’s guest.

“Well, I noticed there was nothing darker than y’all in that movie,” Goldberg ranted.

She looked at the camera and raved, “Jerry. Jerry! None of us?”

Co-host Sunny Hostin said in the movie there were “a few” black people in a “dance scene.”

Gaffigan calmly pointed out that Goldberg had no idea what she was talking about with her wild accusation.

He corrected her by noting that comedians Sarah Cooper and Cedric the Entertainer – who are both black – have roles in Unfrosted.

“Oh yeah, Cedric was there,” Hostin said.

“I didn’t see that,” Goldberg said sheepishly.

In a stunner, she apologized for jumping the gun to attack Unfrosted.

“I’m sorry, Ceddy,” Goldberg said. “I missed it. I take everything back.”

Whoopi Goldberg’s career as an actress and a comedian crashed and burned so she’s stuck co-hosting The View.

And she made herself look like a fool by lashing out at Jerry Seinfeld’s new movie.
