A madman killed three innocent people before killing himself on Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida.
Democrats wasted no time exploiting the tragedy to push their anti-gun agenda.
But the Sheriff of Jacksonville responded to the tragic shooting with one truth about guns that caught everyone by surprise.
A deranged man shot and killed three black people on Saturday afternoon before killing himself at a Dollar General in Jacksonville, Florida.
Not long after the tragedy, Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters held a press conference where he announced that the shooting was “racially motivated.”
“He hated black people,” Waters said in reference to the shooter, who used a Glock handgun and an AR-15 style rifle.
Of course, the Democrats did not wait on details before beating the drums for new gun control laws.
Kamala Harris released a statement on Sunday where she called on Congress to ban firearms.
“Every person in every community in America should have the freedom to live safe from gun violence,” the statement read. “And Congress must help secure that freedom by banning assault weapons and passing other common sense gun safety legislation.”
But Sheriff Waters dropped a truth bomb on Kamala Harris and the gun-grabbers about the tragic shooting.
“The story’s always about guns,” Waters said. “People are bad, this guy’s a bad guy.”
Waters then pointed out that a firearm is an inanimate object that can’t operate on its own.
“But if I take my gun off right now and lay it on this counter, nothing will happen,” Waters said. “It’ll sit there — but as soon as a wicked person grabs ahold of that handgun and starts shooting people with it — there’s the problem.”
“The problem is the individual,” he concluded.

Waters also pointed out that the Jacksonville shooter legally purchased his firearms earlier this year.
But Democrats do not care about facts or reality.
They only care about pushing their far-Left agenda at every opportunity.
