The Pentagon Sat on This Reaper Drone Footage for Four Years and Now You Know Why

The USS Nimitz pilots couldn't explain what they saw in 2004 – and the government spent the next 20 years pretending that was a one-time mystery.

Now there's a video of an American Reaper drone locking onto an unknown craft over Syria – and the moment that lock succeeded, the object vanished from frame.

That footage existed for four years before Jeremy Corbell dragged it into public view.

What the Footage Actually Shows

The MQ-9 Reaper is not some grainy dashcam.

It carries a Multi-Spectral Targeting System built for weapons-grade targeting – the same sensors used to track and kill high-value terrorist targets across Syria and Iraq.

When that system achieved a weapons-grade lock on a wingless, dome-shaped object over the Jordanian-Syrian border in 2021, the object didn't evade the way a drone would.

It didn't turn, bank, or accelerate through a normal flight arc.

It instantaneously disappeared to the right.

No propulsion signature.

No heat exhaust.

No aerodynamic surfaces doing what aerodynamic surfaces do.

Corbell told Fox News exactly what that means: "We do not have the capability, unfortunately, for instantaneous motion. The idea of inertial effect and what would happen – this is baffling to the intelligence community."

US intelligence analysts formally designated this footage as demonstrating "instantaneous acceleration" – one of the Five Observables the military uses to identify genuine UAP encounters – and he just made sure you got to see it.

Congress Demanded the Videos. The Pentagon Missed the Deadline.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, an Air Force veteran and chairwoman of the House Oversight Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, sent Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth a four-page demand letter on March 31.

She named 46 specific UAP video files – including the Syrian footage – specifying each by title, date, and geographic location, with some entries listing the military callsign of the platform that recorded them.

The deadline to deliver them was April 14.

The Pentagon missed it.

Luna went public stating the Defense Department hadn't routed her letter to the appropriate authorities until her office followed up after the deadline had already passed.

She called the lack of disclosure "concerning" and warned that the task force found responses from the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office "less than adequate."

Trump himself posted on Truth Social in February directing the release of government files on UAP and extraterrestrial phenomena.

His own Pentagon then missed the congressional deadline to do exactly that.

Luna has made clear she's willing to work with Hegseth directly – and equally clear that if resistance continues, subpoena authority is on the table.

This Has Been Happening Since 1952

The 1952 Washington DC incident is the version most Americans haven't heard.

Radar operators at National Airport and Andrews Air Force Base tracked unknown objects probing restricted airspace around the White House and Pentagon across two consecutive weekends in July of that year.

F-94 interceptors were scrambled both times.

Both times the objects vanished before pilots could reach them.

The Air Force dismissed it as temperature inversions.

The second weekend destroyed that explanation – the objects returned, radar coverage from multiple installations confirmed the contacts, and an airliner crew reported luminous objects flying alongside their aircraft.

Seventy-four years later, a Reaper drone with weapons-grade sensors achieves a targeting lock over Syria and the object does the same thing those 1952 radar blips did.

It leaves.

Instantly.

659 Unexplained Incidents and the Bureaucrats Who Buried Them

The Pentagon logged 757 UAP incidents from 2023 to 2024 alone.

Of 708 aerial encounters, exactly 49 were marked "case closed."

That leaves 659 incidents – near American military airspace, over a single two-year window – with no identified origin, no identified operator, and no identified technology.

Corbell put it plainly: "They are oftentimes loitering over sensitive critical infrastructure within the United States."

They are parking themselves over the facilities where America stores its nuclear weapons, trains its pilots, and coordinates its defenses – and the career bureaucrats running the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office have spent years sending Congress responses Luna publicly described as "less than adequate."

These are the same institutional actors whose office failed to act on a four-page congressional demand letter until Luna's staff chased them down after the deadline.

Trump ordered transparency in February.

Congress named 46 specific files in March.

The April deadline came and went.

The bureaucracy that sat on this Reaper footage for four years is the same bureaucracy deciding what you're allowed to know right now – and they've made their answer clear.

Pull the subpoena, Rep. Luna.
