Project Blue Book shut down in 1969 and the Air Force told America there was nothing left to investigate.
Now Trump forced open the files – and what they buried is exactly what they didn't want you reading.
And what happened to a soldier’s watch during a UFO encounter will leave you scratching your head in disbelief.
What Was in the Fifth Release
The account comes directly from the Pentagon's own files – filed through the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office and posted to war.gov/UFO on August 7 as part of Trump's PURSUE program.
Two US military witnesses observed an unidentified object.
When it was over, one witness checked his analogue watch.
It was running 25 minutes fast.
He told investigators he had been watching the watch throughout the entire encounter.

The jump happened with no warning and no mechanical explanation.
Here's the detail that makes this impossible to dismiss: his companion's digital watch showed the correct time.
The dashboard clock in their vehicle showed the correct time.
Their phones showed the correct time.
Only the analogue watch – the one with physical moving parts – was affected.
A Harvard Physicist Now Advises the White House on This
Avi Loeb isn't a fringe figure.
He's a theoretical physicist at Harvard University, the former chair of Harvard's astronomy department, and now chairs the UAP Science Advisory Council advising the White House and Pentagon directly.
When Loeb reviewed this report, he offered three possibilities.
First: electromagnetic interference.
An object producing a strong enough electromagnetic field could theoretically disrupt the mechanical components of an analogue watch while leaving digital devices – which operate on entirely different internal mechanisms – unaffected.
Loeb noted this would require a very specific type of emission.
Second: a classified American black project.
The US military runs experimental technology nobody publicly acknowledges.
If the witnesses stumbled onto a domestic program, the electromagnetic signature could explain the time discrepancy.

Third – and this is where it gets serious – alien technology.
Loeb has been more direct than most scientists about what these files could mean.
"If these are technologies developed by adversarial nations, we need to know about them because it's a matter of national security," Loeb said. "It could also be that we're dealing with some 'black projects.' Finally, it could be a manifestation of some alien technology, in which case it would be a huge scientific discovery."
He's not speculating from a podcast studio.
He's advising the White House.
The Files Don't Stop There
The same release included a pilot's account from Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, 2002.
At 4:30am, he watched a silent, triangle-shaped object – estimated at 500 feet across – move silently overhead from west to east.
As it passed, the stars above him disappeared.
Not cloudy.
Not foggy.
The Pentagon's own filed report describes the object as moving at roughly 150 knots with "no lights visible" – and states the witness saw the stars "getting blacked out over Bagram" as it passed.
No identification was made.
No explanation was offered.

This is one account inside a release of 41 documents, images, and videos – the fifth batch since Trump launched PURSUE in May.
The files span from 1950 to 2026 and come from the Pentagon, FBI, CIA, State Department, and the Executive Office of the President.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said the Department of War is fully aligned with Trump on transparency.
"These files, hidden behind classifications, have long fuelled justified speculation, and it's time the American people see it for themselves," Hegseth said.
The Pentagon's official position is that it has found no confirmed evidence of extraterrestrial life – and also that it cannot explain what many of these objects are.
Those two statements are allowed to coexist only because nobody forced them to choose.
Trump forced them to open the files.
And what's inside doesn't need a label to be alarming.
A watch that skips 25 minutes while every digital device around it stays accurate isn't a glitch.
It's a data point.
The question is what it's pointing toward – adversary technology capable of targeted electromagnetic effects on US military personnel, a classified American program our own soldiers don't know they're encountering, or something that didn't originate on this planet.
The Air Force told you in 1969 there was nothing left to see.
They lied.
