Marjorie Taylor Greene and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have been at each other’s throats for the past few years.

But the two nearly came to blows during a late-night hearing on Thursday.

And the House erupted into chaos when Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez referred to Marjorie Taylor Greene by these two words.

The atmosphere was tense at the Capitol on Thursday night during a House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing about holding Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt of Congress.

It all started with a vote on whether or not to allow Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) to continue speaking during the hearing, which passed by a vote of 22-20.

In her speech, Greene asked the Democrats if any of them had hired Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter for political services.

Freshman Democrat Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) fired back at Greene and asked her to “please tell me what that has to do with Merrick Garland.”

“Do you know what we’re here for?” she added.

“I don’t think you know what you’re here for,” Greene fired back.

Greene then took a swipe at Crockett for her appearance.

“I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading,” Greene said.

Democrats Jamie Raskin (D-MD) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) erupted into a fit of rage over Greene’s eyelash comment.

“That’s beneath even you, Ms. Greene,” Raskin yelled.

“That’s disgusting,” Ocasio-Cortez shouted.

Ocasio-Cortez then made a motion to strike Greene’s words from the record because they were “absolutely unacceptable.”

“I do have a point of order, and I would like to move to take down Ms. Green’s words,” she said. “That is absolutely unacceptable,” she continued, before adding “how dare you attack the physical appearance of another person?”

“Move her words down,” she declared.

But Greene refused to back down.

“Are your feelings hurt?” Greene asked.

Ocasio-Cortez responded by referring to Greene by two words that caught everyone by surprise.

“Oh girl, baby girl!” Ocasio-Cortez said. “Don’t even play!”

“Oh really,” Greene said, before adding “baby girl?”

Eventually, Chairman Comer (R-KY) managed to calm everyone down and Greene agreed to strike her words from the record.

But tensions flared right back up when Ocasio-Cortez demanded an apology from Greene.

“I believe she needs to apologize,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“I’m not apologizing,” Greene responded.

“Well then you’re not striking your words,” Ocasio-Cortez replied.

That’s when Greene brought up the fact that Ocasio-Cortez is afraid to face off with her in a debate.

“Why don’t you debate me?” Greene asked, to which Ocasio-Cortez replied, “I think it’s pretty self evident.”

“Yeah, you don’t have enough intelligence,” Greene responded.

“You will never get an apology out of me,” Greene promised. “I don’t owe you one.”

“She’s racist,” Crockett told reporters a few hours after the incident.

As soon as Comer gained order for the second time, Crockett attacked Greene through a cleverly-worded question that referred to her “bleach blond bad built butch body.”

Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) then entered the argument and went back and forth with Crockett.

Tensions are white-hot on Capitol Hill just like they are in towns and cities all across America.
