The Democrat in Charge of Winning the House Just Refused to Call Socialists What They Are

John Fetterman spent a week calling the DSA "anarchy" and demanding Democrats grow a spine.

The woman whose job is to win back the House just told CNN that is not her problem.

And the Democrat in charge of winning the House just refused to call socialists what they really are.

The Answer That Wasn't an Answer

Manu Raju asked DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene a direct question Tuesday: should Democrats repudiate the platform of the Democratic Socialists of America?

Her answer was that Iowa voters don't care what's happening in New York City.

DSA-backed candidates have won more than 35 Democrat primaries heading into November.

Their co-chair went on Fox News Sunday and confirmed the platform on camera: abolish the Senate, defund the Pentagon, replace the presidency and Supreme Court, abolish ICE and prisons, and hand amnesty to every illegal alien in the country – plus government ownership of most large corporations.

Fetterman has been screaming about this for weeks.

"This isn't a big tent – it's anarchy," he posted on X three days before DelBene's CNN appearance.

He asked one question directly: "Why can't Dems call out the DSA?"

DelBene answered it on Tuesday.

They can't because they won't.

The Math Democrats Are Ignoring

DelBene's plan is to pretend the socialists only matter in New York City, then talk about gas prices until November.

The math doesn't cooperate.

DSA-backed candidates are running in 133 races this cycle.

A sitting congressman who chaired a major Democratic caucus just lost his seat to a DSA challenger.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani – a card-carrying DSA member who ran on abolishing ICE and installing government-run grocery stores – is now the most powerful Democrat in the largest city in America.

He endorsed three congressional candidates in June 2026.

All three won.

Those winners are now the Democrats running for Congress in safe blue seats.

When they get to Washington, DelBene is going to have to work with them.

Iowa voters may not care about New York City today.

They will care when those socialists are setting the Democrat agenda in a House the DCCC just handed them.

The Pattern Fetterman Sees and DelBene Pretends Doesn't Exist

This is not a new playbook.

DSA founder Michael Harrington said out loud that the plan was to infiltrate and take over the Democratic Party from within.

The strategy was documented.

The execution took 50 years.

Today the DSA has more than 120,000 members – up from 6,000 before Bernie Sanders ran in 2016.

Their candidates have won primaries in Philadelphia, Queens, Los Angeles, and Maine.

The Democrat Senate nominee in Maine previously called himself a "communist" on Reddit, then denied knowing the meaning of a Nazi-linked tattoo on his own body.

Democrats nominated him anyway.

Nobody in leadership said a word.

Meanwhile, only 32 percent of Americans say they'd be more likely to vote for a democratic socialist.

Fifty percent say they'd be less likely.

DelBene is running toward swing voters in Iowa while the base of her party is sprinting Left – and she is pretending neither thing is true.

Fetterman called it "an orgy of socialism."

DelBene called it "unity."

Here's what unity looks like in January 2027: a freshman class of DSA members who campaigned on abolishing ICE, defunding the Pentagon, and wiping out the Senate arrives in Washington, DC – and Suzan DelBene has to hand them committee assignments.

That's the majority she's building.

Iowa voters will care about that.
