AOC just told America that billionaires don't earn their money – they steal it.
Ted Cruz heard that and went straight to Fox News to call her exactly what she is.
What he said next – and who backed him up – is something Democrats desperately don't want you to see.
AOC's Billion-Dollar Lie
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went on a podcast last week and said something she's believed her entire political career.
"You can't earn a billion dollars," she said.
She kept going.
"You can get market power, you can break rules, you can do all sorts of things. You can abuse labor laws, you can pay people less than what they're worth, but you can't earn that."

Then she explained why so many Americans disagree with her.
They've "internalized this moralized system," she said, where people at the top are seen as smarter and better – and people at the bottom are seen as lazy and uneducated.
This is the woman who wants to run for president in 2028 telling half of America that their belief in hard work is a psychological condition she needs to cure.
Ted Cruz called Sean Hannity the same day.
"I recognize for her – given that she was a bartender – that is probably true," Cruz said. "Bartenders are an honorable profession. But she went from that to being a government employee and a parasite sucking on the taxpayer."
One sentence. No hedging. No apology.
How AOC Got the Revolution Completely Backward
The same week she declared billionaires thieves, AOC went to the University of Chicago and tried to rewrite American history.
She told the audience the Revolution was "against the billionaires of their time."
Cruz went back on Hannity and dismantled it.

"The war for independence was funded by people like Robert Morris, who was the wealthiest person in the colonies," Cruz said. "It was funded by people like George Washington, who in modern terms was worth about $600 million, people like Thomas Jefferson."
"It was American free enterprise capitalists who invested in seeking freedom."
She used the founding generation – men who built wealth and risked it on a revolution – to argue against the very system that made America possible.
That's not a historical error.
That's a lie about what this country is.
Even the Washington Post Had Enough
The Washington Post editorial board published a piece calling AOC out directly.
"To say that it's impossible to legitimately earn a billion dollars is to put an arbitrary limit on human potential," the board wrote.
"Presuming that anyone who becomes too successful must be cheating shows a lack of imagination as to what humans are capable of accomplishing in a free society."
The Washington Post. Defending human potential. Against a Democrat.
The socialist left spent decades dressing up redistribution in the language of fairness.
AOC stripped away the polite framing and said what they've always meant – success is suspect, achievement is exploitation, and the government should decide how much you're allowed to keep.
Cruz called it parasite politics.
The Post called it an arbitrary limit on human potential.
America just got a preview of what 2028 looks like if Democrats hand AOC the wheel – and even their own press corps is already flinching.
