Sylvester Stallone is one of Hollywood’s legendary actors.
Stallone normally avoids politics and made a rare comment following the 2024 election.
And Sylvester Stallone compared Trump to one President that no one could believe.
Stallone compares Donald Trump to George Washington
Sylvester Stallone became a star overnight with 1976’s Rocky.
Stallone referenced that film in a surprise appearance at the America First Policy Institute’s black-tie gala at Mar-a-Lago.
Americans never saw Stallone get too political before.
But Stallone spoke at the gala following Trump’s landslide election and compared the arc of Donald Trump’s political career to that of Rocky Balboa.
Stallone told the crowd that when he wrote Rocky as a “chosen individual” and that Donald Trump shared that characteristic.
“When I made Rocky, the first image was a picture of Jesus, and it said, ‘Resurrection, AC Club,’” Stallone recalled. “I found a church that had been converted into a boxing ring. The image pans from Jesus to Rocky being hit, and in that moment, he was the chosen person. That’s how I began the journey. Just like President Trump.”
Stallone continued on, declaring Trump as a “mythical character” like the ones that people think only exist in movies as Trump overcame obstacles – four indictments, two impeachments, and two assassination attempts, including one where a gunman shot Trump in the head, to complete the greatest comeback in political history.
“We’re in the presence of a really mythical character . . . I love mythology. This individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I’m in awe,” Stallone stated.
Stallone explained that historical figures don’t realize their importance in the moment and cited George Washington leading the Continental Army changing the world for good.
Trump, Stallone stated, fell into the George Washington class of leaders.
“When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was going to change the world. Without him, you could imagine what the world would look like. Guess what? We got the second George Washington. Congratulations,” Stallone declared.
In 2016, a movie star like Sylvester Stallone never would have shown his face at a dinner honoring Donald Trump.
The establishment attached the stigma of racism and sexism to Trump.
Trump winning the popular vote obliterated any chance by the Left to claim Trump was illegitimate.
In the wake of Trump’s victory, Americans can’t turn on a football game without seeing players perform Trump’s signature dance moves to celebrate big plays.
UFC Champion Jon Jones – the greatest MMA fighter of all time – thanked Trump and presented him with his heavyweight championship belt – following his victory at UFC 309 in Madison Square Garden.
Politics is downstream of culture
Trump was a cultural figure before he became a political one, and now as a political figure he’s influencing culture upstream … https://t.co/KA8dpmNSTS

Democrats weaponized the justice system.
The media spent nine years lying about Trump.
Every major institution in America mobilized its might to beat Trump.
Trump even survived a hail of assassin’s bullets.
It all failed.
The breadth of Trump’s win forced the Left to accept the fact that Donald Trump is the mainstream of American politics and culture.
