Steve Bannon only knows one mode.
And that’s his belief that the best defense is a good offense.
Now Steve Bannon had this chilling response to a child sex scandal allegation.
Steve Bannon tells Matt Gaetz to stay on offense
Two RINOs on the House Ethics Committee took the unheard of step by voting with the Democrats to release a report filled with innuendos and smears that falsely accused former Congressman Matt Gaetz of sleeping with a 17-year-old girl.
The weaponized Biden Justice Department spent years investigating Gaetz on these allegations.
And despite the Justice Department clearing Gaetz by not pressing any charges – a significant feat considering how Attorney General Merrick Garland abused his power to target Trump and his supporters – the Ethics Committee smeared Gaetz by releasing a report laundering the allegations the Justice Department concluded were baseless into a hit job against Gaetz.
On his War Room podcast, Steve Bannon told Gaetz he had to come back swinging.
“The only people who can stop what we doing is ourselves. And the only we stop is when we play by their rules. Screw their rules, Screw them, they have destroyed this country. Gates has to come back. You can not accept defeat. This is so obvious, Take the Ethics report and shove it up your ass,” Bannon declared.
Gaetz hinted at Turning Point USA’s America Fest that he was considering running for Governor or Senator in Florida in the 2026 Midterm elections.
The Swamp creatures on the ethics committee released this report to destroy Gaetz’s reputation to try and stop an effective Trump ally from ever winning higher office.
But the report was a house of cards.
The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway explained how the committee revealed the testimony of a felon, named Joel Greenberg, who is in jail for falsely accusing a political rival of having sex with a minor.
“Among many things the former Seminole County tax collector admitted to as part of a wide-ranging case for which he is currently serving 11 years in prison was falsely accusing local political opponent Brian Beute of having sex with a minor, similar to the outlandish claim he made against Gaetz,” Hemingway reported.
“Greenberg also reportedly later attempted to frame his own attorney with pornographic images of children. One New York Times writeup of Greenberg was headlined, “Like the Tiger King Got Elected Tax Collector,” Hemingway added.
The committee’s report repackaged allegations from witnesses the Biden Justice Department deemed not credible into a one sided report that Gaetz can never challenge in court or law and that doesn’t contain his version of events or supporting evidence.
Releasing this report was revenge for Gaetz leading the push to oust Speaker Kevin McCarthy after McCarthy failed to live up to his promise to fight Joe Biden in spending negotiations.
The loyalists McCarthy put on the committee at the beginning of the Congress that just concluded carried out a political revenge scheme on behalf of their former benefactor.
