A 61-year-old patriot showed up Tuesday night to ask New York's socialist mayor one question about the NYPD.
He never got to ask it – and left in cardiac arrest.
What happened in the 60 seconds before that will have Mamdani's media fans very, very quiet.
The Mayor Who Couldn't Last 60 Seconds
Zohran Mamdani arrived at the NYPD's 43rd annual Patrol Borough National Night Out Against Crime at Midland Beach thinking he could waltz into a pro-law enforcement celebration and play mayor.
He was wrong.
The moment he approached the stage, the crowd broke into boos.
Attendees shouted for him to leave.
Some turned their backs.
Others gave thumbs down as he was escorted away with a grin on his face.
He delivered exactly one line – "Happy Night Out Against Crime" – before fleeing the stage in under a minute.

For a politician who built his entire brand on soaking up crowds and delivering long-winded speeches about his radical agenda, the moment was humiliating.
Staten Island was the only New York City borough Mamdani didn't win in the mayoral election.
He pulled just 23.1% of the vote there, compared to 55.2% for Andrew Cuomo.
Tuesday night made clear the locals haven't changed their minds.
The Man Who Tried to Ask One Question
While Mamdani fled the stage, patriotic artist and veterans advocate Scott LoBaido had a question ready.
LoBaido attended with a group specifically to challenge Mamdani on his decision to reverse a plan to hire thousands of new NYPD officers – a reversal that left police unions furious.
Before the event, he posted a video explaining his mission.
"He puts the handcuffs on the cops instead of the criminals," LoBaido said.
As Mamdani left the stage, LoBaido moved to intercept him but officers stepped in and pushed him back.
Moments later, he told witnesses he wasn't feeling well.
EMTs treated him at the scene with oxygen, CPR, and a defibrillator.
Northwell Staten Island University Hospital confirmed the next morning that LoBaido remained in critical condition following a cardiac arrest.
The left-wing press that covered this story called him a "notorious MAGA troll."

The 9/11 Question Nobody in the Media Will Ask
This rejection matters beyond the embarrassment.
Staten Island is home to one of the largest concentrations of 9/11 families and first responders anywhere in the country.
And right now, more than 77,000 people have signed a petition demanding Mamdani stay away from the 25th anniversary 9/11 memorial this September.
The petition was launched by Giovanni Galante, a Brooklyn-born man who lost his 29-year-old wife Grace in the attacks.
It cites Mamdani's connections to radical Brooklyn Imam Siraj Wahhaj and his appointment of Ramzi Kassem – who previously represented a terrorist convicted in an al-Qaeda bombing plot.
The petition also points to Mamdani's own father, who argued in a 2004 book that the 9/11 attacks should be understood as political violence rather than an act of barbarism – views Mamdani has acknowledged shaped his own worldview.
Mamdani has already said he intends to attend.
The man who couldn't survive 60 seconds at an NYPD event plans to show up at Ground Zero – where 2,977 Americans were murdered – with that same grin on his face.
Those 3,500 people on Staten Island said something Tuesday night that no editorial board in New York has been willing to print: we will not pretend.
