The New York Times blew the lid off government UFO suppression in 2017 – and Washington spent the next eight years making sure you never saw the proof.
Now Trump just released it.
Six federal law enforcement agents are on record watching glowing orange orbs spawn smaller red objects over a sensitive national security site – and the Pentagon cannot explain 40% of what they witnessed.
What Six Federal Agents Witnessed Over Two Days
Over two days in October 2023, six federal law enforcement special agents filed formal reports describing the same scene: large orange orbs appearing above a ridgeline near a classified national security site in the western United States and releasing smaller red objects into the night sky.
This wasn't one guy with a phone camera.
These were trained federal agents – the kind who investigate crimes, secure evidence and testify in federal court.
AARO analysts spent months cross-referencing those accounts against military flight logs, commercial radar, ADS-B tracking records, known drone activity and environmental data.

Their conclusion: roughly 40% of what the agents observed cannot be explained.
Not misidentified. Not debunked.
Unexplained.
The office flagged "unrecognized technology" as a working hypothesis for that portion of the incident – while cautioning the entire assessment was built on witness accounts, not physical or technical evidence.
In plain English: they don't know what it was, and they can't rule out something entirely new.
Army Intelligence Officers Watched Something Hover Over Cheyenne Mountain
The western site incident isn't the only bombshell in Trump's latest PURSUE document release.
In February 2022, five U.S. Army personnel at Fort Carson – including an intelligence officer – stepped out of their office building and watched a shimmering object hold position 300 to 500 feet above Cheyenne Mountain for up to three minutes.
Cheyenne Mountain is home to NORAD and U.S. Northern Command – the nerve center of American aerospace defense.

Witnesses described the object as roughly jet-sized, shaped like an asymmetrical potato, its surface covered in irregular overlapping panels that rippled slowly while the object stood perfectly still.
Then it vanished.
Pentagon analysts suggested the sighting may have been sunlight bouncing off snow-covered terrain – but assigned that conclusion "low confidence" because the witnesses described clear skies.
No balloons. No aircraft.
No known foreign technology.
Low confidence is the Pentagon's way of saying they're guessing.
Biden Signed the Disclosure Law and Then His Own Agency Buried the Evidence
In December 2023, Biden signed UAP disclosure requirements into the National Defense Authorization Act – mandating that agencies identify, review and turn over records to a central government collection.
Then his own Pentagon's AARO told Congress that anyone pressing for answers was engaged in "circular reporting" and that "most sightings were ordinary objects and phenomena."
The agents watching orbs launch orbs over a national security site filed those reports during Biden's watch.
AARO had them. Congress asked questions.
But Biden's Pentagon said there was nothing worth seeing.
Trump signed the executive order in February 2026 directing every federal agency to identify, review and declassify UAP records.

The resulting PURSUE program launched war.gov/UFO in May 2026 – and recorded 340 million hits in the first 12 hours alone.
By the time the third tranche dropped this week, the portal had logged more than 1.7 billion visits.
The American people were right to suspect they were being lied to.
The Two Answers That Should Keep You Up at Night
Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb said it plainly on Fox & Friends Weekend: either a foreign adversary has built technology capable of operating freely over America's most classified installations without detection – or something else entirely is responsible.
Neither answer lets you sleep easy.
If it's China or Russia, foreign technology has been penetrating American airspace above Cheyenne Mountain and a western national security site for years – while Biden's Pentagon collected the reports, reached no conclusions and told Congress to stop asking.
If it's not a foreign adversary, you already know what that means – and the federal government's own "unrecognized technology" language points exactly in that direction.
What Trump has done with PURSUE is remove the government's ability to simply refuse to answer.
AARO signed official documents acknowledging 40% of the activity at a sensitive national security site remains unexplained – and that for years, the people responsible decided you didn't need to know.
