Sean Hannity and Alina Habba are both big supporters of Donald Trump.
But Hannity needed answers.
And Sean Hannity confronted Alina Habba about one concerning decision.
Alina Habba on the shortlist for Press Secretary
Mediaite dropped a bombshell that Alina Habba was a favorite to be named the new White House Press Secretary in a second Trump administration.
Habba appeared on Sean Hannity’s show and Hannity got right to the point of asking Habba if Trump planned to name her Press Secretary.
“Let’s talk about the possibility and reports that you might be the President’s Press Secretary. Any truth to it?” Hannity wondered.
Habba coyly replied that the decision was ultimately up to Trump and her three children.
“I leave it to the President and three people that are on my board of directors. That’s Luke, Chloe, and Parker, my children. Everybody will know in time,” Habba answered.
Hannity wanted a more definitive answer to break some news on his show.
“Alright, now I gotta go in a little harder,” Hannity followed up. “Have there been any discussions about it?”
Habba sheepishly admitted that she knew Hannity’s game but wasn’t going to play because if she got in the habit of talking out of turn she never would have risen as high as she did in Donald Trump’s orbit.
“Sean, you know me better than that. You would never have me on prime time if I answered questions like that. Look, President Trump has put together an amazing cabinet. I’m really proud of the work that him and his transition team have done. I think when we look at everybody, they are killing it on all fronts,” Habba replied.
Habba said the message of the election is that America was ready to “turn the page” of four years of failure.
What mattered now, Habba added, was that Donald Trump put a team in place that could implement his America First agenda and move the nation forward.
“America is excited for frankly– sorry to use Mrs. Walz’s term, but turn a page. It’s time to turn the page. It’s time to have advocacy for America First and whatever that looks like for President Trump and his team, I trust it. It’s a decision for all of them to make, not me,” Habba added.
Hannity tried another line of questioning and asked Habba if she would take a role in the Trump administration.
“Alright, serious question. If you were asked to serve in that role or any other role, would you?” Hannity asked.
Habba answered in the affirmative.
“I am very loyal to President Trump. I would think about it very seriously,” Habba concluded.
Habba isn’t the only name under consideration.
Axios reported that Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, former Trump administration official Monica Crowley, former ESPN SportsCenter anchor Sage Steele, CNN commentator Scott Jennings, and Republican National Committee Spokeswoman Elizabeth Pipko are other names the Trump team is evaluating for the job of White House Press Secretary.
