Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is delivering game-changing wins for conservatives.
He’s remaking the country’s political landscape.
And Ron DeSantis made one announcement that had Democrats hitting the panic button.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis turned the Sunshine State into an oasis of freedom during the pandemic.
He’s building on his bold stand against pandemic tyranny with his “Freedom First” agenda that’s turned Florida into an economic powerhouse and expanded freedom.
Florida is in the middle of a massive economic boom as a national leader in economic and job growth.
The state now ranks first in the country for parental involvement in education from DeSantis’s success in advancing parental rights.
Americans are responding to DeSantis’s bold conservative leadership and voting with their feet.
The Census Bureau revealed that Florida is the fastest-growing state in the nation during 2022.
Florida’s population increased by 1.9% to 22,244,823 between 2021 and 2022.
This is the first time since 1957 that the Sunshine State is the fastest growing state based on Census Bureau data.
Florida also had the highest net domestic migration of any state with 318,855 people moving to the state over the past year.
“For the third most-populous state to also be the fastest growing is notable because it requires significant population gains,” a Census Bureau statement read.
Other fast-growing states have seen an influx of new residents that have shifted the state’s political landscape left-ward like Colorado.
The population boom coincides with DeSantis remaking the Sunshine State from a top battleground state into a deeper shade of red.
Since 2018 when DeSantis was first elected, the number of registered Republican voters has grown by over 553,000.
For the first time in the history of the state, there are now more registered Republicans than Democrats and it appears that the GOP’s advantage will only keep growing.
The Census Bureau’s report revealed that Americans are flocking to red states and abandoning blue states.
Florida was the fastest-growing state followed by Idaho, South Carolina, and Texas.
California, whose Governor Gavin Newsom is a frequent DeSantis foe, lost nearly 1.3% of its population.
Other deep blue states that embraced pandemic tyranny like Illinois and New York saw significant population losses.
New York’s population loss was driven by its residents leaving for other states like Florida in search of a better life.
Ron DeSantis’s successful conservative leadership has created a thriving culture of freedom in Florida that’s drawing new residents in from all over the country.
