The Left is promoting sexually explicit drag queen shows across the country as an allegedly family friendly event that supports the LGBT movement.
These shows have exposed kids to drag queens performing explicit stripper inspired routines that are completely inappropriate for minors.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis put these drag queen shows on notice if they perform in front of kids in his state.
A nationwide tour of “A Drag Queen Christmas” stopped in Florida for several shows last December.
After reports that the show’s drag queens were giving sexually explicit performances in front of children as young as five, DeSantis put his foot down.
The Governor’s office warned that any venue hosting a show with sexually explicit performances that welcomed minors would lose their liquor license.
The Orlando Philharmonic Plaza Foundation hosted a performance of “A Drag Queen Christmas,” which was billed as an “all ages” show last December after the warning from DeSantis.
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (FDBPR) moved to pull the performance arts center’s liquor license after it found out that the drag show featured “sexually explicit” acts with kids in attendance.
“Governor DeSantis stands to protect the innocence of children, and the Governor always follows through when he says he will do something,” DeSantis Press Secretary Bryan Griffin told Florida’s Voice News.
The FDBPR found that the Orlando venue “promoted the Show using targeted, Christmas-themed promotional materials that did not provide notice as to the sexually explicit nature of the show’s performance or other content.”
Officials found that the drag show that was billed as one for “all ages” featured a laundry list of performances that were wildly inappropriate for kids.
“Rather than call attention to the Show’s sexually explicit content or acknowledge that it might not be appropriate for children, Respondent’s promotional material unequivocally stated ‘all ages welcome,’” the FDBPR stated.
The FDBPR found that the drag show violated multiple Florida laws causing the agency to move to revoke the venue’s liquor license.
DeSantis previously filed a complaint against a Miami restaurant last July for violating the state’s public decency laws by hosting an all ages drag show.
Ron DeSantis is making sure that Florida is where woke goes to die by pulling the liquor license from the Orlando venue and showing them he means business.
