Now his own Health Secretary just confirmed it – and the story is even better than they thought.
RFK Jr just told the world what's on Air Force One – and CNN anchors everywhere are losing their minds over it.
What Kennedy Actually Said
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sat down with comedian John Crist on the Net Positive podcast this week and pulled back the curtain on life aboard the presidential plane.
"When you get on his airplane, it's just boxes and boxes of McDonald's," Kennedy told Crist.
Crist asked the obvious follow-up: does Kennedy ever nudge the president toward healthier choices?
"I'm not like a scold," Kennedy replied.

Kennedy wasn't horrified by what he saw – he was just telling the truth, which is refreshing from any Washington official.

He gave the full context the media is conveniently leaving out.
"He eats really good food most of the time," Kennedy explained, "but when he's traveling, he likes to eat food from national chains because he's scared of getting food poisoning."
When Trump is at Mar-a-Lago or the White House, Kennedy says the food is first-rate – fresh produce, locally sourced, the works.
The McDonald's is a travel protocol, not a lifestyle.
Trump is a self-described germaphobe who has trusted McDonald's standardized preparation since long before he ever ran for president.

Former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski documented it in his book Let Trump Be Trump – two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, a chocolate milkshake, and absolute confidence that nobody tampered with it.
That's not a junk food habit.
That's a security decision.

The media jumped on Kennedy's comments like it was a scandal.
Trump has never pretended to be a wellness influencer.
He worked the fry station at a McDonald's franchise during the 2024 campaign – not because a consultant told him to, but because he genuinely likes the place.
He called himself one of McDonald's "all-time most loyal customers" at the McDonald's Impact Summit in November 2025.
At that same event, Trump revealed he had convinced Kennedy to eat a Big Mac – and claimed Kennedy enjoyed every bite.
While reporters spent this week writing hot takes about Air Force One, Kennedy was executing the most aggressive food safety push Washington has seen in decades.
Six major artificial dyes – the ones pumped into your grandkids' cereal and candy – are being phased out of the food supply.
Dozens of states passed MAHA-aligned legislation this year alone, from food dye bans to expanded nutrition labeling.
Fast food chains like Steak 'n Shake switched from seed oils back to beef tallow in direct response to RFK's pressure.
The Results Speak Louder Than a Drive-Thru Order
And Kennedy did all of this without once demanding that Donald Trump put down his Big Mac.
That's called leadership, not hypocrisy.
A movement that cleans up the food your kids eat at school doesn't collapse because the Commander in Chief prefers Filet-O-Fish to salmon tartare at 30,000 feet.
The only people who believe otherwise are the ones who never wanted MAHA to succeed in the first place.
Trump trusted his gut – literally and figuratively – and hired Kennedy to fix a broken food system.
Kennedy's doing the job.
The boxes of McDonald's on Air Force One aren't a scandal.
They're proof that these two men trust each other enough to tell the truth.
