Prince Harry and his family’s relationship fell apart after he married D-list actress Meghan Markle.

He hoped that he could repair his broken relationship with his father.

Now Prince Harry is going to hate that the Royal Family gave him this brutal rejection.

King Charles gives a slap in the face to Prince Harry with military honor

King Charles III gave another subtle hint that Prince Harry is still on the outs with his family.

Royal watcher Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight that the King appointing Prince William as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps over Harry sends a strong signal.

This is a “slap in the face” to Harry because he served in the British Army Air Corps during one of his tours of duty to Afghanistan on the crew of an Apache helicopter.

“For many years he served two tours in Afghanistan,” Nicholl explained. “You know, the timing is curious. I think many people will see that as a bit of a snub, really, from the palace, and perhaps a little bit of a poke in the ribs to Prince Harry.”

Prince Harry lost out on the appointment the same day as he arrived in the United Kingdom to attend the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The Games are a sporting contest for wounded veterans and soldiers from around the world he founded in 2014.

“Yes, he’s over here part of the Invictus community celebrating 10 years, but he’s been stripped of his right to wear his military uniform,” Nicholl added. “And now his brother’s taken over the role that I think Harry would have expected to have come to him, had he still been a working member of the royal family.”

“So, yes, I think the timing does feel poignant,” Nicholl continued. “And, yes, I think it’s probably another slap in the face for Prince Harry, and yet another reminder that he’s very much out rather than in when it comes to the royal family.”

But this was just the beginning of the ice-cold shoulder from his family on his return home.

Another slap in the face for Prince Harry on his United Kingdom trip

Prince Harry traveled to the United Kingdom in February to meet with his father after his cancer diagnosis.

Despite the rare homecoming for him, he won’t be spending any time with his family.

No senior members of the Royal Family planned to attend the Invictus Games.

And it was also announced that King Charles wouldn’t meet with his son because his schedule was booked during Harry’s trip.

“In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the U.K. this week, it, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full program,” a spokesman for Prince Harry said.

King Charles is a busy person, but not carving out any time for his son sends a message that’s loud and clear.

Prince Harry burned his relationship with his family and it doesn’t appear that it’s going to get repaired any time soon.
