Stage two – a pre-staged sniper team picks off the panicking crowd as they flee.
Stage three – a ground assault team storms the White House gate in the chaos.
The FBI picked up the threat on June 10 – four days before the event.
They worked around the clock across at least 12 field offices, secured probable cause in Cincinnati, made their first arrest, and did all of it before the Blue Angels flew over the South Lawn and Zac Brown sang the national anthem.
One suspect allegedly told investigators the targets were "capitalist elites," "billionaires," and politicians connected to AIPAC.
That's not a policy dispute.
That's a terror ideology with a kill list.
Phone evidence recovered from one suspect revealed at least 23 people planning the operation across multiple states – meaning this was organized, rehearsed, and nearly ready to execute.
Some participants allegedly traveled to Fredericksburg, Virginia on June 12 or 13 to stage for the attack.
Less than 48 hours before Trump walked into that Octagon, his would-be killers were 50 miles away doing final preparations.
This Is What the Pattern Looks Like
JD Vance went on Fox & Friends Tuesday and called it "very, very dark stuff."
Then he said the thing every American needs to sit with.
"A lot of my Democratic colleagues in Washington have got to look themselves in the mirror and say, why is so much of this political violence coming from our side of the spectrum?" he said.
That's not a talking point.
That's a documented trend they've spent two years refusing to acknowledge.
In 2024, left-wing terror attacks outnumbered right-wing attacks for the first time in over 30 years – a pattern CSIS analysts confirmed was fueled directly by partisan opposition to the Trump administration.

And last Saturday night, 1,200 active-duty service members sitting on the South Lawn were one FBI tip away from being herded into a sniper's field of fire.
The people responsible for this climate have a specific name.
They spent years calling Trump a fascist, calling his supporters Nazis, calling ICE agents the Gestapo.
They celebrated Luigi Mangione for murdering a healthcare CEO.
They called it punching up.
Now they want to talk about tone.
FBI Director Kash Patel was direct: "We are built to detect, respond to, and bring to justice those who threaten the lives of American citizens – particularly during large gatherings like the historic UFC 250 fight. That's exactly what we did here."
Ask yourself why the same media that covered every Trump tweet as an existential crisis to democracy has spent 48 hours focused on UFC highlights instead of the mass murder that almost happened at his birthday party.
