Tom Homan warned for months that the left-wing rhetoric against ICE was going to get someone killed.
Now someone put up a flyer at Penn State depicting a federal officer hanging dead from a noose – and it wasn't the first time.
What happened next is something you almost never see anymore: College Republicans and College Democrats stood together and told whoever did it that they crossed a line.
The Dead ICE Agents Flyer Penn State Has Now Found Twice
This was the second time the same image showed up on Penn State's campus.
The first flyer – reading "Dead ICE Agents Can't Kill" above a graphic of a hanged officer – appeared in late January near the school's central HUB-Robeson Center.
Penn State police launched an investigation.
Then the flyer went back up in the same location.
That's not a mistake. That's a message.
A Penn State College Republicans member found it Saturday and immediately alerted campus leadership.
What came next was the joint statement – College Republicans and College Democrats together – calling it "dangerous and reckless rhetoric" and demanding the university act.
"It is deeply disturbing to consider that students on our campus would put up these messages and condone this violent rhetoric," the statement read.
They went further.
"This kind of dangerous and reckless rhetoric calling for violence against our federal law enforcement officers, civil servants, or any of our fellow Americans is nothing short of unacceptable in today's America."
When left-wing students are making Democrats look bad by association, you know the rhetoric has gone too far.
ICE Agents Face 8000 Percent More Death Threats and Now This
Penn State doesn't exist in a vacuum.
The Department of Homeland Security released numbers in January that should shock anyone who claims to care about law enforcement: ICE officers faced a 1,300% increase in assaults, a 3,200% increase in vehicle attacks, and an 8,000% increase in death threats since Trump took office.
Tom Homan confirmed the personal toll of that campaign.
When an ICE agent shot a woman in Minneapolis who drove her SUV directly at him in January – Renee Good – Homan revealed the agent was doxxed within hours.
Wanted posters went up with the agent's photo and license plate number.
His family received death threats.
Homan told Dr. Phil the officer feared for himself and his family.
The DHS also reported 182 separate vehicle attacks on ICE officers since Trump's inauguration – a pattern of violence that directly mirrors the language on the Penn State flyers.
You don't go from "ICE agents kidnap students" posters – which the Student Committee for Defense and Solidarity also distributed at Penn State – to "Dead ICE Agents Can't Kill" by accident.
That is a deliberate escalation.
The Pattern Democrats Don't Want to Talk About
The Center for Strategic and International Studies tracked 20 plots or attacks targeting federal immigration enforcement officers or facilities in just the first six months of 2025.
In 2019, an Antifa activist showed up at an ICE detention center in Tacoma, Washington with a rifle and incendiary devices.
In Minneapolis – Tim Walz's Minnesota – rioters surrounded ICE agents in the streets, blocked their vehicles, and created the conditions that led to a shooting.
Homan called it months in advance.
"I said if the rhetoric didn't stop, there was going to be bloodshed," Homan said in January, "and there has been."
Left-wing anti-ICE groups at Penn State were already holding protests, burning American flags on social media, and organizing alongside Antifa-adjacent agitators before these flyers appeared.
The flyers are the ideology made visible.
University spokesperson Colleen Mastony confirmed that Penn State's own police are investigating – though the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression has argued the flyer may be protected speech at a public university.
Protected speech is one thing.
A coordinated campaign to dehumanize federal officers – on a campus where the same material already appeared once – is something else entirely.
Penn State needs to find out who did this, publish the results, and make clear that the next ICE agent these students try to intimidate has the full backing of the federal government standing behind him.
Because Homan already told you what happens when they don't.
