California Democrats are refusing to let the pandemic go.
Almost every single Leftist scheme ever imagined has been inflicted upon that state and now people are fleeing from it as fast as they can.
However, after parents learned what these state bureaucrats have been asking their children to do behind their backs, California could experience an exodus like never before.
Bureaucrats from the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) raided three preschool locations over the preschool’s masking policies.
Yes, you read that right.
These bureaucrats entered the preschools, separated children (some as young as two years old) from their teachers, and questioned them about the preschool’s masking policies.
When asked about this absurd abuse of power, the CDSS said that they had the power to, “enter and inspect a licensed child care facility at any time, with or without advance notice, to secure compliance with, or prevent a violation” of California’s laws, and “interview children without prior consent and, when necessary, conduct the interviews in private.”
After the bureaucrats were done traumatizing the children enrolled at Aspen Leaf Preschool they released their finding stating, “Based on their personal observations and interviews of the facility directors, staff and children, CCLD staff determined that the licensee failed to ensure that staff and children used face coverings as required by the State Public Health Officer Order of June 11, 2021, thus violating the children’s personal right to safe and healthful accommodations.”
Throughout the pandemic, the owner of Aspen Leaf Preschool Howard Wu was open and honest with parents about their anti-masking policy and even posted their policy online.
Despite that fact, all it took was one complaint from one family to bring the full weight of California’s state government upon these preschools.
Howard Wu told the media, “After it all happened I actually pulled every licensing report issued in California during the pandemic to get the data to show we were treated more harshly than any other center.”
He continued by saying, “They could have issued us a citation in 5 minutes and let us take our challenge up through the proper channels. The simultaneous multi-school raids and the child interviews just felt like a power play.”
And that’s exactly what this was, a power play.
Lockdown Leftists don’t care that most states have abandoned their mask mandates weeks if not months ago.
They don’t care that California’s own mask mandates are expiring in just a few days.
And they certainly don’t care that California’s own governor violated his own mask mandates.
All they care about is forcing everyone to bow down and comply.
Thankfully, the Aspen Leaf Preschool is fighting these bureaucratic bullies in court and the parents of these preschoolers are justifiably outraged by the government’s insane antics.
