Donald Trump is dominating the field in the GOP Primary.
But eight other Republicans looking to take on Biden next year took the stage for a debate on Wednesday.
And one White House aid just humiliated Joe Biden with these four words about the first GOP debate.
Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, Chris Christie, Tim Scott, Asa Hutchinson, and Doug Burgum appeared on stage Wednesday in Milwaukee for the first Republican Presidential Primary debate.
Fox News Channel hosted the debate with anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum as the moderators.
Notably absent from the list of participants was frontrunner Donald Trump.
Trump skipped the debate due to his massive lead in the polls and his refusal to sign the RNC’s loyalty pledge to support the Party’s eventual nominee.
The former President instead appeared for an interview on Tucker Carlson’s program on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
But while Joe Biden’s potential opponents squared off on stage in Milwaukee, the President was on yet another vacation in Nevada.
Joe Biden traveled to Lake Tahoe, Nevada over the weekend with his son Hunter, where the family is staying with billionaire Democrat Tom Steyer.
Of course, Biden has already spent 39.7 percent of his Presidency on vacation.
But many were wondering if he would tune in to watch a debate between what could be one of his potential opponents in 2024.
White House principal deputy press secretary Olivia Dalton told the press that she was uncertain of Biden’s plans in Nevada.
“I can’t shed any light on how he’s spending some valuable quality family time out here, but certainly, he’s been engaged on a daily basis and confronting some of these extreme events we’re seeing,” Dalton said.
However, she admitted that she hopes Biden would not tune in to the debate.
“I don’t know,” she said, before adding, “I sure hope not.”
“For his sake, but I don’t know,” she said.
The Republican who Biden fears the most was not on stage Wednesday at the debate.
Given the health issues Joe Biden is already facing, Dalton was probably thinking that watching Republicans attack and smear him and his family for two hours is not a good idea.
Perhaps Biden tuned in to Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump on Elon Musk’s X instead.
