One radical Senator sent a completely inappropriate message to Supreme Court Justices recently.
Apparently, Democrats are nervous their ability to kill preborn boys and girls is coming to an end, thanks to Donald Trump’s Supreme Court appointees.
Now this Senator is trying to blame a lawless uprising on the Supreme Court before it’s even happened.
Separation of powers is the bedrock that’s kept America strong over the years, but Senator Jeanne Shaheen, a Democrat from New Hampshire, can’t seem to stay in her lane.
During an event, a reporter asked if “if public debate over abortion had ‘muted’ due to many people in the U.S. only knowing life post-Roe v. Wade.”
According to a Fox News, her response was over the top, “I hope the Supreme Court is listening to the people of the United States because . . . I think if you want to see a revolution go ahead, outlaw Roe v. Wade and see what the response is of the public, particularly young people,” Shaheen said. “Because I think that will not be acceptable to young women or young men.”
Last we checked, making decisions based on public opinion or someone’s feelings isn’t exactly in the job description for the high court.
But that doesn’t stop Democrats from throwing childish fits.
In 2020, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer basically threatened Justices at an abortion rights rally.
“I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price!” Schumer yelled at the event. “You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”
Later that day Chief Justice John Roberts called out Schumer in a statement which read, “Justices know that criticism comes with the territory, but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous.”
Roberts added, “All Members of the Court will continue to do their job, without fear or favor, from whatever quarter.”
No doubt the nation’s top court is equally impressed with Shaheen’s pending temper tantrum.
