George Soros is one of the key mega donors on the American Left.
Soros has a vision for America and puts big money behind Democrats in critical elections to see it come to fruition.
And now one key Democrat had a conversion that spells big trouble for George Soros.
One of Soros’ pet projects is dismantling the criminal justice system in America.
Like most leftists, Soros believes police and the courts are systemically racist.
So Soros funds Democrats in District Attorney races who will turn criminals loose on the streets and stop prosecuting crimes.
But now even Congressional Democrats are turning against Soros’ pro-crime agenda.
The latest example was Minnesota Democrat Congresswoman Angie Craig.
A hoodlum with 12 previous arrests on his record violently attacked Craig in the elevator of her apartment building punching Craig once in the chin and grabbing her around the neck.
Craig only escaped by throwing her hot coffee in the attacker’s face.
“That was the moment that fight or flight kicked in,” Craig explained.
“All I could do was throw my coffee over my shoulder, which startled him,” Craig recounted. “But as soon as he regained, he came back toward me, and again, it was only until we got to the floor the elevator was headed to that I was able to escape.”
The man who attacked Craig’s most recent arrest was for biting and attacking police officers after which he only served 35 days in jail.
In an interview with CBS News, Craig committed to supporting stiffer criminal penalties that keep violent offenders in jail.
“I was assault No. 13 on his record,” Craig stated. “And I’m gonna do everything in my power to make sure there’s not a 14, a 15, a 20.”
“If you throw somebody in jail for 10 days and think, ‘There’s your punishment, and we’re gonna let you right back on the street,’ what the hell do you think’s gonna happen?” Craig continued.
Craig made good on her word joining 30 other Democrats in voting for a House Republican measure to overturn the revamped Washington, D.C. criminal code, which lowered the criminal penalties for carjacking, burglary, and robbery.
Because this is a privileged motion, Republicans now force a vote in the United States Senate where it only requires a simple majority to pass.
