Venezuela's opposition leader Maria Corina Machado appeared on Fox News' Hannity three days after President Trump's military forces captured dictator Nicolás Maduro in Caracas.
Machado won Venezuela's 2024 primary election by a landslide but the socialist regime banned her from running.
She dedicated her Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump in October and just humiliated Democrats by explaining why on national television.
Machado declares Trump "deserved" Nobel Peace Prize
"I dedicated it to President Trump because I believed at that point that he deserved it," Machado explained to Sean Hannity.
Democrats who spent four years calling Trump a dangerous warmonger just got humiliated by a freedom fighter who watched Trump do what they claimed was impossible.
Machado won the Nobel for her fight against Maduro's regime but Trump actually removed the dictator from power.
The Venezuelan leader didn't hold back about Trump's bold action that Democrats and media talking heads said would lead to disaster.
"A lot of people, most people, said it was impossible to achieve what he has just done on Saturday, January 3," Machado stated.
She called January 3 "the day justice defeated tyranny" after U.S. special forces captured Maduro and his wife in a nighttime raid.
The dictator now sits in a New York jail cell facing narco-terrorism charges while his criminal regime crumbles.
Democrats scramble as Trump proves critics wrong again
For years Democrats and their media allies warned Trump's aggressive foreign policy would cause wars and destabilize regions.
They praised Joe Biden's "diplomatic approach" that accomplished absolutely nothing while Maduro tightened his grip on Venezuela.
Now Machado stands before the world praising Trump for delivering the freedom Biden's team said was unreachable through military action.
"If I believe he deserved it in October, imagine now," Machado said about Trump earning the Nobel. "I think he has proven to the world what he means."
Democrats can't explain away a Nobel Peace Prize winner thanking Trump for liberating her country through the exact tactics they spent years condemning.
The same crowd that said Trump was too reckless for diplomacy now watches helplessly as a Venezuelan freedom fighter credits him with dismantling a brutal dictatorship.
Machado outlined Venezuela's future as America's strongest regional ally with three massive benefits.
First, dismantling the criminal networks that have poisoned both countries with drugs and violence.
Second, turning Venezuela into an energy powerhouse that strengthens American energy security instead of depending on hostile regimes.
Third, bringing millions of Venezuelan refugees home to rebuild their country instead of flooding across America's southern border.
Trump delivers results while Democrats deliver excuses
Machado ran against overwhelming odds after Maduro banned her from the ballot out of pure fear.
"He feared me, Maduro. So, he thought that by banning me, he would stop us from winning, but exactly the opposite happened," Machado recalled.
Her substitute candidate Edmundo González won by a landslide under conditions Democrats would never tolerate in America.
Socialist regimes control the media, intimidate voters, and rig the system but Venezuelans voted for freedom anyway.
Trump's raid vindicated everything Machado fought for while making Biden's Venezuela policy look pathetic by comparison.
Democrats spent four years insisting engagement and dialogue would work better than Trump's maximum pressure campaign.
Biden lifted Trump's sanctions, eased restrictions, and tried negotiating with a dictator who responded by cracking down harder on his own people.
Now Trump walks into office and within days accomplishes what Biden's team said was impossible without years of careful diplomatic groundwork.
Machado expressed gratitude "on behalf of the Venezuelan people" for Trump's "courageous vision" and "historical actions" against the narco-terrorist regime.
She noted 30 million Venezuelans are closer to freedom and America is safer because Trump acted decisively instead of talking endlessly like his predecessor.
Democrats who called Trump a threat to democracy just watched him help restore democracy to Venezuela while they defended keeping Maduro in power through their failed diplomatic approach.
The contrast couldn't be clearer or more humiliating for Biden's foreign policy team and their media defenders.
