Democrats support open borders and amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.
But their hypocrisy on illegal immigration has recently been on full display.
And New York Governor Kathy Hochul just made one call that exposed the big lie Democrats tell about open borders.
During the 2020 campaign, Joe Biden promised open borders and amnesty for any illegal alien who made it into the country.
Biden began following through with his promise on Day One of his administration.
He ended construction on the border wall, suspended all deportations for at least 100 days, brought back Obama’s dangerous “catch and release” policy that Trump had ended, and promised blanket amnesty to illegal aliens.
As a result, a staggering 4.9 million illegal aliens have crossed the border since Joe Biden took office, according to a report from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).
Since Joe Biden refuses to address the crisis, Republican Governors Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott stepped up and took action to protect their states.
For the past few months, Greg Abbott has sent busloads of illegal aliens to sanctuary cities like New York City and Washington, D.C.
Overall, Abbott has sent more than 16,000 illegal aliens to New York City.
Even though New York City advertises itself as a so-called “sanctuary city,” the 16,000 illegal aliens sent New York Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul into a frenzy.
And Kathy Hochul just called on 100 National Guard reservists to help construct a tent city for the illegal aliens in New York.
“A unit of 100 reservists has been mobilized for deployment and the soldiers ‘are ready to assist’ at Adams’ request, according to the governor’s office,” the Washington Post reported.
“The National Guard will provide logistical and operational support to the city’s relief center once it is ready to open,” the Post continued.
“The reservists recruited for the assignment were selected in part based on their ability to speak Spanish,” the Post concluded.
The illegal aliens sent to New York City only account for 0.32 percent of the estimated five million who have entered the country since Joe Biden took office.
But Hochul is facing a tough election this fall against Republican Lee Zeldin, a fierce opponent of the Democrats’ open borders agenda.
Polls show Republicans have an overwhelming advantage over Democrats on the issue of illegal immigration.
And Joe Biden’s border crisis could lead to a shellacking for Democrats in races across the country this fall.
