Joe Biden’s presidency is shaping up to be one of the worst in modern history after a single year.
He completely botched the economy despite being handed prime conditions for a boom.
And a new poll shows Americans are furious with Biden’s disastrous handling of this crisis.
Joe Biden’s border policies are rivaling his economic policies in ineptitude.
Inflation is at a 40-year high, and illegal immigration into the country is at an all-time high under Biden.
On his first day in office, Biden unraveled all of Donald Trump’s effective border policies such as the “Remain in Mexico” agreement that dramatically cut down on bogus asylum claims.
And a new Gallup poll shows that Americans are none too pleased with Biden’s handling of the immigration issue.
The number of Americans that are dissatisfied with current immigration levels has reached 58%, which is an 8% increase since last year.
Gallup shows that the, “58% dissatisfied includes 35% of all Americans who would prefer that immigration be decreased, 9% increased, and 14% who want levels kept the same.”
The Democrats have essentially adopted open borders, and Americans are not happy.
Heavily Latino communities in South Texas have been overwhelmed by illegal immigration, which is partly why Republicans are making inroads in the area.
In 2020, Trump lost Starr County—which is almost exclusively Hispanic—by 5 points; he lost the same county in 2016 by an eye-popping 80 points.
The trends are not going in the Democrats’ favor.
Gallup added that, “now the predominant view among the dissatisfied is for less immigration. The proportion who want less immigration has nearly doubled from 19% in 2021 and is well above where it was in 2019 (23%) and 2020 (25%). At the same time, calls for more immigration into the country have dropped.”
Gallup also showed that 69% of Republicans would like to see the amount of immigration decreased, which has put many establishment RINOs at odds with the party base.
Democrat satisfaction with immigration levels only sits at 52%, and the dissatisfied are evenly split between wanting more, less, and the same amount of immigration.
The Gallup poll also showed that dissatisfied independents are three times more likely to favor less immigration over more immigration.
The bottom line is that the American people would like to see lower, more manageable levels of immigration into the country, and the Democratic Party is wildly out of step with the majority of Americans.
