What Paul Pelosi Actually Did on July 3
Paul Pelosi – 86 years old, behind the wheel of a brown Maserati convertible in Yountville, California – hit a parked, unoccupied Tesla on the Fourth of July weekend.
A witness watched him briefly stop.
Then he drove away.
His Maserati broke down roughly a quarter mile from the scene.
When deputies caught up with him, Paul told officers he knew he had hit something.
He claimed he didn't know what.
Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley filed the charges on July 17 – one count of misdemeanor hit-and-run, plus an infraction for an unlawful turning movement.
Six months in jail and a $1,000 fine are on the table if he's convicted.
He was not arrested.
Eight Violations and a Prior DUI That Just Completed
This is not Paul Pelosi's first collision with the law.
In May 2022, he crashed his Porsche into another vehicle at a Napa County intersection after leaving a dinner party at a friend's estate in Oakville.
His blood alcohol content measured 0.082 percent – just above California's legal limit of 0.08 percent.
He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI causing injury.
He was sentenced to five days in jail – served two in custody, earned credit for two more, and finished the last day through a courthouse work program.

His three-year probation from that conviction had only just expired when he hit the Tesla and drove off.
And before the 2022 DUI, Breitbart documented at least eight additional traffic violations spanning 13 years – speeding, running red lights, crossing double yellow lines, driving the wrong way down a one-way street in Marin County, and using a phone while driving.
In 2011 alone, he received three separate citations and a warning in a five-month span.
The Napa County Sheriff's Office has referred his case to the California DMV to determine whether he should be allowed to continue driving.
The Part That Should Make Every Conservative's Blood Boil
Think about what would happen to your neighbor – your brother – if he had a prior DUI conviction, watched that probation expire, and then hit a parked car and fled the scene.
He would be in handcuffs.
Paul Pelosi was cited with a misdemeanor.
Then Nancy Pelosi stood silent while her staffer cut off a Fox News reporter asking about it.
"That's enough. That's enough!" the staffer yelled.
That is how the Pelosi family handles accountability.
They do not answer.
They do not apologize.
They send someone else to shut down the people asking.

This is the same Nancy Pelosi who tore up Donald Trump's State of the Union address on national television.
The same Nancy Pelosi who ran the House of Representatives for years on the promise of fighting for working Americans.
Working Americans do not get to hit a parked car, drive off, and walk away without handcuffs.
Working Americans do not have staffers who physically run interference while they slip into waiting cars.
The two-tiered justice system Democrats claim doesn't exist just drove a brown Maserati through Yountville – and nobody stopped it.
