RINO Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is at it again.
Senator McConnell continues to act like Joe Biden’s best friend in Washington.
And now Senator Mitch McConnell sold out Trump supporters in the most unspeakable way ever.
President Joe Biden recently demanded another $24 billion for his war in Ukraine.
His request was actually part of a larger $40 billion emergency spending request that includes money for disaster relief to help the recovery from the wildfires in Hawaii and Hurricane Idalia in Florida.
The American people already footed a $140 billion bill to secure the border in Ukraine while America’s border sits wide open – even as liberals like New York City’s Democrat Mayor Eric Adams are warning that the historic influx of illegal aliens will “destroy” the city.
But President Biden doesn’t care.
His first loyalty is to the globalist agenda, and that means keeping the spigot open for a blank check to fund this reckless war in Ukraine.
However, a growing number of House Republicans see Biden trying to suck Americans into an endless war with Russia over Ukraine.
Many oppose Biden spending unlimited taxpayer money to fight over Ukraine’s border while ignoring the crisis on America’s southern border.
That recently led Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to float the idea of separating the disaster relief and Ukraine requests into separate bills, which conservatives hoped would increase the chances of ending funding for the war in Ukraine.
But Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell froze that idea – just like he freezes himself whenever he’s asked a question these days – in his rush to President Biden’s side.
McConnell claimed that enriching defense contractors who are profiting off the Ukraine War is critical for America.
“Standing with our allies against Putin is directly and measurably strengthening the U.S. military,” McConnell added. “Growing the U.S. industrial base and supporting thousands of good-paying American jobs. The overwhelming majority of the money we have appropriated is being spent here in America.”
Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) loved Senator McConnell’s response, and added, “The worst thing we can do right now for our own national security and for our democratic values is to waver or hesitate in our support,” Schumer ranted in a speech on the Senate floor.
President Biden couldn’t be happier that he has both parties under his thumb on this issue in the United States Senate.
The bad news for the establishment is that Donald Trump is campaigning on ending the war in Ukraine.
With polls showing Trump could defeat Biden, Swamp elites like McConnell are shoveling as much money out the door as possible in case the American people rise up and stop the gravy train in November 2024.
