RINO former Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell may have relinquished his leadership position.

But McConnell hasn’t given up his desire to sabotage Donald Trump.

And Mitch McConnell is about to double-cross Donald Trump in this despicable way.

McConnell schemes to tank conservative cabinet nominees

Republicans hold 53 seats in the Senate.

Donald Trump can win confirmation of all his cabinet nominees provided he doesn’t lose more than three Republicans on any vote.

Considering that 20 Republican Senators voted to confirm Merrick Garland as Joe Biden’s Attorney General it shouldn’t be a hard lift for Trump to see his entire slate of cabinet nominations reach the 51-vote threshold for confirmation.

Enter Mitch McConnell and his cabal of RINO traitors.

McConnell colluded with three other RINOs to force Matt Gaetz to withdraw his nomination as Attorney General once it became clear these four would never change their mind from a no vote.

“Matt Gaetz told people close to him that he concluded after conversations with senators and their staffs that there were at least four Republican senators who were implacably opposed to his nomination: Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and John Curtis of Utah,” The New York Times’ Jonathan Swan reports.

Charlie Kirk interviewed Senator Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma.

Mullin told Kirk that Pete Hegseth’s nomination to be Secretary of Defense, Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination to serve as Director of National Intelligence, and Robert F. Kennedy’s bid to run the Department of Health and Human Services were currently short of the votes necessary for confirmation.

Kirk wrote on X:

Sen. Mullin says Hegseth should be able to get confirmed given the police report clears him of criminal wrongdoing (and barring any other allegations).

Sen. Mullin believes she currently has 48 YES votes, with five Republicans who he believes can be convinced.

Sen. Mullin says he has about 45 YES votes, but believes all 53 can still be convinced.

Gaetz, Gabbard, Hegseth, and Kennedy all have three things in common.

All are anti-establishment choices that would have purged the Deep State and woke officials from their agencies.

All are loyal to Donald Trump’s MAGA agenda and not the Swamp.

And all opposed the war in Ukraine.

McConnell will chair a power defense appropriations subcommittee and McConnell’s made it clear he intends to spend his remaining time in the Senate fighting to prolong the endless war in Ukraine.

And step one in that plan looks like McConnell conspiring with a cabal of RINOs to keep anyone who supports Trump’s plan to end the war out of a position of power.
