Mike Rowe just warned Fox News viewers of one major problem that could tank the economy if Biden ignores it

There’s less than three weeks until the Midterm elections.

Polls show the economy and inflation is the top concern of most voters heading into November.

And now Mike Rowe just warned Fox News viewers of one major problem that could tank the economy if Biden ignores it.

The September inflation report was bad news for Joe Biden and the Democrats, as prices rose by 0.4 percent from August, which is higher than the 0.2 percent predicted by economists.

While overall inflation rose by 8.3 percent, the price of groceries skyrocketed by 13.5 percent.

According to government data, the costs of food purchased by Americans in August saw the most inflation since 1979.

But it’s not just inflation that poses a threat to the entire economy.

Mike Rowe is an American television host, actor, and former opera singer best known for his work on the Discovery Channel’s Dirty Jobs.

He also hosts a show on Fox Business called How America Works where he focuses on the importance of skilled work and manual labor in the American economy.

During Monday’s episode of Fox News Channel’s America’s Newsroom, Rowe discussed the impact of inflation as it relates to the need for more trade workers in the labor market.

“There is just simply never been a need for skilled work like there is right now,” Rowe told co-hosts Dana Perino and Bill Hemmer. “If you’re inclined to think that way, to work that way, the world is your oyster,” he continued, before adding “if you’re not, sadly, and you’re a man, statistically, you’re probably sitting home spending 2,000 hours a year looking at your screen.”

Rowe said this is a major issue that needs to be discussed, but it must be talked about using the right language.

“We have to talk about that,” Rowe said. “We’ve got to do something about it, not in a scholarly lecturing way, but we’ve got to acknowledge it because it’s enormous.”

Rowe then pointed to the labor participation rate, which he called a critical key for evaluating economic health that doesn’t get the attention it deserves.

Rowed said the labor participation rate was the “least reported” indicator with the “biggest” impact on the economy.

“You’ve got 7 million men right now, prime age 25 to 54, not only not working, but affirmatively not looking for work,” Rowe said. “That is having an impact, I think, on the economy, and according to [economist] Nick [Eberstadt], an impact unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.”

Polls backup Rowe’s concern.

A recent Fox News poll showed that the “majority of Americans would prefer the government lend them a hand as they battle various economic woes, like rising consumer prices.”

Rowe wrapped up with a message for Americans who are willing to work.

“The reality is, there are a lot of people who need a hand who are well-intended and willing to work,” Rowe said. “The other reality is there are millions of people who have been given a hand and as a result, have done absolutely nothing with the help they’ve been afforded.”

“And I’m telling you, Bill . . . if you’re an individual who’s willing to work, the path to prosperity is crystal clear,” Rowe concluded.

Joe Biden’s trillions of dollars in spending not only drove inflation sky high, but paying people to not work is also leading to a potential crisis in the labor market.

If the economy continues to spiral downward as predicted by most experts, Joe Biden will have a hard time convincing Democrats to renominate him in 2024.
