Michelle Obama is getting desperate as the race slips away from Kamala Harris.
She tried to come out swinging at Donald Trump.
And Michelle Obama told one big lie about Donald Trump that instantly backfired on her.
Michelle Obama stuns audience by claiming Donald Trump is ducking interviews
Vice President Kamala Harris tried to run a basement campaign modeled on what President Joe Biden did in the 2020 Election.
She avoided interviews and interacting with the press for most of the campaign until it became clear that strategy wasn’t working as she slid in the polls.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama hit the campaign trail to rally voters for Kamala in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
She told one of the most shocking lies of the 2024 Election cycle during the rally.
“Kamala, she’s putting herself out there fearlessly facing down even her harshest critics,” Obama claimed. “She’s seeking out Republicans to find common ground.”
The Vice President has taken one interview, Fox News, that could even be remotely classified as hostile since she entered the race.
“And unlike her opponent, she’s not ducking interviews or cowering in safe spaces only with fawning audiences,” Obama raged. “Now she’s showing us what a sane, stable leader looks like. She’s not losing her train of thought or stumbling over her words. And she’s doing it all with vigor and with grace.”
The former First Lady made this claim one day after former President Donald Trump did a three-hour podcast with comedian Joe Rogan.
Rogan said that he would have loved to have Kamala appear on his show but her campaign turned it down citing scheduling conflicts.
Kamala’s handlers almost certainly didn’t want her in an unscripted environment for that long in the final days before the election.
Trump has held far more interviews than Kamala and ventured into hostile settings to do them.
Obama lied through her teeth to suggest that Kamala was taking tough interviews while Trump was ducking them.
Donald Trump fires back at Michelle Obama for her attacks
Former President Barack Obama was known for his unofficial campaign slogan of hope and change.
His wife traded the hope to try to sling mud at Trump during Kamala’s Michigan rally.
“I hope that you’ll forgive me if I’m a little angry that we are indifferent to his erratic behavior, his obvious mental decline, his history as a convicted felon, a known . . . a known slumlord, a predator found liable for sexual abuse, all of this, while we pick apart Kamala’s answers from interviews that he doesn’t even have the courage to do, y’all,” Obama raged.
Trump gave more than double the number of interviews of Kamala who gave one prerecorded interview during her first 40 days in the race.
The former President fired back at Michelle Obama during a campaign rally in Atlanta, Georgia.
“You know who was nasty to me? Michelle Obama,” Trump said. “I always tried to be so nice and respectful. Oh, did she open up a little bit of a box? She opened up a little bit of something. Yeah, she was nasty — shouldn’t be that way, that was a big mistake that she made.”
Michelle Obama is projecting Kamala’s failures as a candidate onto Donald Trump by laughably claiming he’s hiding in safe spaces.
