Kamala Harris is reaching deep into the playbook as the 2024 election winds down and the polls move against her.
It was time to call in the big guns.
And Michelle Obama made one demand that no one saw coming.
Michelle Obama’s bizarre speech
Kamala Harris held a rally in Michigan with Michelle Obama to try and staunch the bleeding out of her support in the polls.
Democrats are in panic mode about Kamala’s cratering poll numbers with male voters, specifically younger black and Hispanic men.
Kamala is paying the price for decades of the Left treating male voters like a punching bag and telling them they imposed a patriarchy through their “toxic masculinity.”
Democrats somehow thought sending Michelle Obama – the avatar for lean-in girl boss feminism – would win over male voters.
Michelle Obama’s speech in Michigan amounted to an insane threat to male voters that if they voted for Donald Trump their wives, girlfriends, and daughters would die.
“If we don’t get this election right, your wife, your daughter, your mother, we as women will become collateral damage to your rage,” Obama ranted.
Obama reached deep into the bag of emotional blackmail to claim men couldn’t look the women in their lives in the eye if they cast a ballot for Trump.
“So are you as men prepared to look into the eyes of the women and children you love and tell them you supported this assault on our safety?” Obama pleaded.
“I am asking y’all from the core of my being to take our lives seriously,” Obama raged.
Michelle Obama doubled down on a losing message
In 2016, Hillary Clinton’s losing campaign message amounted to telling Americans they owed her the Presidency because of her gender.
Michelle Obama made the same pitch claiming voters held Kamala Harris to a double standard while reciting a number of falsehoods about Donald Trump.
“I hope you’ll forgive me if I’m a little frustrated that some of us are choosing to ignore Donald Trump’s gross incompetence while asking Kamala to dazzle us at every turn. I hope that you’ll forgive me if I’m a little angry that we are indifferent to his erratic behavior,” the former First Lady whined.
“His obvious mental decline. His history as a convicted felon. A known slumlord. A predator found liable for sexual abuse. All of this while we pick apart Kamala’s answers from interviews that he doesn’t even have the courage to do, y’all,” Obama concluded.
It’s unclear how anyone thought this message would appeal to undecided male voters.
Winning campaigns like to end on a crescendo with a closing message of inspiration.
Losing campaigns wrap up the election by airing their grievances.
The posture of the Trump and Kamala Harris campaigns is signaling to Americans which way they both think this election is trending.
