Michelle Obama is one of the heavyweights in the Democrat Party.

Now, she’s getting ready to make her move to beat Donald Trump.

And Michelle Obama entered the fight for 2024 after this major decision.

Michelle Obama rallying Hollywood behind Kamala Harris

Former First Lady Michelle Obama has long been the dream Presidential candidate for Democrats.

She consistently polls stronger than any other Democrat candidate in polls she’s included in.

But the former First Lady didn’t throw her hat in the ring as a replacement candidate for President Joe Biden after he bowed out.

Now, she’s working her connections to help Vice President Kamala Harris with rollout as the new Democrat Presidential nominee.

Michelle Obama and her husband, former President Barack Obama, waited to endorse Harris after the rest of the Democrat Party with a recorded video to give her an extra boost.

She tapped in her celebrity friends to record a video for her nonprofit When We All Vote – a Democrat voter registration and get out the vote outfit.

NBA stars Chris Paul and Steph Curry, woke soccer player Megan Rapinoe, actress Kerry Washington, TV producer Shonda Rhimes, and other celebrities joined Michelle Obama to ask people if they’re voting.

“We are just 100 days away from the general election,” Michelle said in the ad. “From our local elected officials, to ballot measures on reproductive rights, the environment, and our economy, our future is on the ballot. So, are you voting this year?”

Michelle Obama won’t make a difference

Independent Women’s Forum Director for the center of Economic Opportunity Patrice Onwuka argued that the former First Lady won’t change the equation for the election during an appearance on Fox & Friends First.

“There’s an apathy problem that Democrats have to fight right now,” Onwuka said. “They have to get all of those disenchanted and disengaged voters to actually care.”

She predicted that swapping Harris in for Biden wouldn’t move the needle with Democrats.

“They’ve removed one candidate that was very unpopular, and they’ve placed someone else as a placeholder in that role. That’s not enough,” Onwuka explained. “That’s not going to be enough to move the needle.”

Onwuka said that the jolt of enthusiasm that Democrats got when Harris entered the race was unsustainable.

“This is a one-time stop,” Onwuka stated. “It’s not going to be sustainable.”

Voters are still looking around and seeing a lot of problems in the country after having voted for Biden.

“There are a lot of disengaged voters who say: we voted for the Democratic Party, for the left, for so long, and yet our communities are still struggling, our children are still in failing schools, and our communities are no safer,” Onwuka explained.

Celebrity gimmicks won’t fire these people, according to her.

“They’re willing to give the alternative the benefit of the doubt, or at least they try,” Onwuka said. “So, star-studded celebrity endorsements, they may carry some weight with a few folks, but for the folks who are thinking, ‘You know what? The celebrities lied to me before; they lied to me about Joe Biden for the past four years, they’re going to lie again. I’m going to consider something different.’”

Kamala Harris will have every big name on the Left trying to drag her across the finish line.
