Melania Trump has kept a low profile during this election.

But she’s being forced to speak out after her husband’s assassination attempt.

And Melania Trump made one confession about the Secret Service that confirmed the worst.

Melania Trump demands from the Secret Service

There are still many questions that haven’t been answered about the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.

Not much is known about the gunmen’s motivations more than two months after the shooting.

The Secret Service has been stonewalling Congress and the public about the glaring security failures that day.

Former First Lady Melania Trump demanded answers about her husband’s shooting in a video posted to social media.

“The attempt to end my husband’s life was a horrible, distressing experience,” Melania Trump said. “Now the silence around it feels heavy. I can’t help but wonder why didn’t law enforcement officials arrest the shooter before the speech. There is definitely more to this story, and we need to uncover the truth.”

The gunman was identified as a potential threat when he showed up with a rangefinder before the rally.

Members of the crowd spotted him during the rally and tried to alert law enforcement and the Secret Service.

CNN commentator takes a swipe at Melania

Melania Trump has been out of the public eye for most of this campaign.

CNN commentator Maria Cardona called her “irrelevant” after her video demanding answers about her husband’s shooting.

“Obviously as a wife of somebody who did go through an attempted assassination, she’s absolutely entitled to say whatever she wants about that. I think she’s irrelevant, frankly, and I don’t think this will matter,” Cardona said. “I do think that it does kinda feed into conspiracy theories that we’ve heard out there.”

The only reason any alleged conspiracy theories would develop around the Trump assassination is because the Secret Service has tried to duck accountability by holding back information on the agency’s failure.

The void from the lack of transparency is filled with speculation.

Former Trump campaign advisor David Urban said that Melania was right to demand answers because the Secret Service still hasn’t answered important questions.

“I think she’s asking, ‘how the hell could this have happened?’ There were local law enforcement who did their job,” Urban said. “There are failures up and down the chain of command and the Secret Service, there are a lot of answers that people want.”

If there’s anyone who has a right to demand answers, it’s Melania.

“I think it’s reminding the American people that Donald Trump almost gave his life to be President of the United States, and somebody wanted to kill him because of what he believed in and what he stood for,” Urban continued. “I think it’s worth noting that the guy puts his life on the line everyday in doing this and I think that’s what she was reminding. She obviously loves her husband, Barron loves his father, and I think that she’s trying to humanize him.”

Melania Trump deserves answers for why the Secret Service botched the security at the Butler rally so badly.
