Melania Trump’s memoir, Melania, is due for release on October 1.
Over the last eight years, Melania Trump has closely guarded her image and personal life.
The former First Lady is one of the few figures in what’s known as Trumpworld that doesn’t do press and prefers a behind the scenes role.
Now, that’s all going to change right in the heat of the Presidential Election.
Melania Trump released a video teaser on social media to explain why she wrote the book and to promote its release.

Melania Trump revealed that writing the book was difficult because of how personal it was and how she had to share details of her life she previously kept private.
“Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me,” Trump stated.
But Melania said this book was a chance to set the record straight after the media spent years lying about her.
“As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective: The truth,” Melania Trump added.
The media’s worst lie about Melania
For years, the media spread rumors that Melania Trump secretly was a member of the resistance to Donald Trump.
That speculation peaked in the summer of 2018 when the Trump administration instituted the zero tolerance policy at the border.
The media falsely claimed Trump put kids in cages.
At the height of the manufactured media uproar, Melania Trump visited a border detention facility.
But all the press could talk about was a $39 jacket Melania Trump wore when she got off the plane.
“I Really Don’t Care. Do U?” was printed on the back of the jacket.
Many in the press speculated that it was a rebuke of Donald and Ivanka Trump.
“According to former administration officials, Melania was sending a message to her stepdaughter when she wore her ‘I Really Don’t Care, Do U?’ jacket ahead of her June 2018 visit to see detained migrant children at the southern border,” the New York Post reported.
“The pair ‘were locked in a quiet competition for press coverage’ at the time,” the Post added.
At the time, Donald Trump wrote on Twitter that the intended target of the jacket’s message was the fake news media.
“‘I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?’ written on the back of Melania’s jacket, refers to the Fake News Media. Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!” Trump declared.
Months later, Melania Trump confirmed her husband was correct, and she wanted to fire a shot across the bow of a dishonest press corps.
“It’s obvious I didn’t wear the jacket for the children, I wore the jacket to go on the plane and off the plane,” Melania Trump told ABC News that October.
“It was for the people and for the left-wing media who are criticizing me. I want to show them I don’t care. You could criticize whatever you want to say. But it will not stop me to do what I feel is right,” Melania Trump added.
There are likely a host of other falsehoods the press spread about Melania Trump during her time in the public eye.
