The conservative boycott of Bud Light exposed a rift on the Right.

To the surprise of many, Donald Trump Jr. ended up on the other side.

And now Megyn Kelly sent one shocking message to Donald Trump Jr. about Bud Light.

Donald Trump Jr. defended Anheuser-Busch – the company that produces Bud Light – after it signed a sponsorship deal with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

A conservative boycott of Bud Light – boosted by country music icon Travis Tritt – caused Anheuser-Busch to lose $6 billion in market cap over the span of two weeks.

On his “Triggered” podcast, Trump Jr. begged conservatives to end the boycott for the sole reason that Anheuser-Busch donated money to Republicans in the past.

“But like when I actually look into it, I’m not gonna blame the whole company for the inaction or the stupidity of someone in a marketing campaign that got woke as hell,” Trump Jr. stated.

“We looked into the political giving and lobbying history of Anheuser-Busch. And guess what? They actually support Republicans in, in woke corporate America. Anheuser-Busch supports Republicans,” Trump Jr. added.

Donald Trump himself has been unusually tight-lipped about it, not saying a word on Truth Social.

On her radio show, Megyn Kelly took Donald Trump Jr. to task for opposing the Bud Light boycott.

Trump Jr. claimed Anheuser-Busch was a great American company and Kelly corrected him noting that it was actually owned by a company operating out of Belgium.

Kelly also blasted Trump Jr. for excusing the company promoting transgenderism with the Mulvaney deal by blaming the entire fiasco on the CEO.

A CEO – Kelly explained – is responsible for everything that happens on his watch and that if the CEO did not know the marketing department was going to go all-in on promoting the woke transgender agenda, then someone needed to get fired.

“Number one, as I point out, this is not an American company. It is not an American company,” Kelly began. “Number two, ‘I’m not gonna blame the entire company for the actions of one woke employee.’ No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. The CEO runs the company. The CEO is responsible for everything that happens on his watch. And if the CEO were upset about what the marketing department did here, there is zero evidence of that. Someone needs to get fired. At a minimum, if you’re not gonna issue the apologetic groveling email to your fan base, at least fire somebody.”

Kelly also scoffed at Trump Jr. for defending Anheuser-Busch on the grounds it donates to Republicans by stating the company most likely backed establishment types like Mitt Romney, and would not give a dime to America First conservatives who support Trump’s agenda.

“I guarantee you the Republicans that Anheuser-Busch has donated to are the Mitt Romney-types. It’s gonna be establishment type Republicans. Not that there’s anything wrong with them, but that’s not Trump’s base,” Kelly added. “Donald Trump Jr. should be thinking about how Donald Trump’s base is thinking.”

“They need to stand with their base. So I think that was a rare political misstep by Team Trump,” Kelly concluded.
