Megyn Kelly lowered the boom on a failed CNN host with this epic take down

CNN is locked in a downward spiral.

The struggling network keeps hitting new lows.

And Megyn Kelly lowered the boom on a failed CNN host with this epic take down.

CNN’s ratings are sinking like a brick after former President Donald Trump left office.

The network is flailing after they went all-in on attacking the former President non-stop for years.

CNN parent company Warner Bros. Discovery is slashing thousands of jobs, including on-air talent, in a bid to boost the struggling network’s profitability.

Warner Bros. Discovery is trying to rebrand the network to more hard news to get CNN’s credibility out of the gutter.

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly ripped CNN and former colleague Chris Wallace, who jumped ship from Fox to CNN on her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show.

“Who is the moron at CNN who actually thought, ‘you know what we need with our ratings in the toilet?’” Kelly said. “More of us. We need more CNN.”

CNN+ was launched with much fanfare last year but the streaming service went out of business in less than a month.

Her guest radio host and Rush Limbaugh replacement Buck Sexton unloaded on CNN for its catastrophic failure, streaming service CNN+.

“I do love all of the jokes about how while Elon [Musk] is offering to buy Twitter for tens of billions, there are lots of people out there right now who are willing to buy CNN+ for tens of dollars,” Sexton, a former CNN contributor, added.

In what the media claimed was a major coup for CNN+, the streaming service brought in former Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace.

Wallace, a rapid Trump hater, left Fox News after 18 years with the network claiming that working there became “unsustainable.”

He was supposedly going to be one of the big draws on CNN+ but found himself relegated to hosting a poorly-rated show on the main network after the streaming service collapsed.

Kelly ripped into her former Fox News colleague, Wallace.

“He was in last place every week, every year, every month,” Kelly said of Wallace during their time at Fox. “He was always in last, and they still paid him.”

Kelly revealed that CNN tried to poach her when she was at Fox News.

“I considered going to CNN,” Kelly said. “CNN made me a huge offer. Huge.”

She eventually left Fox to go to NBC for two years before embarking on her podcast career.

“I said no, Buck, because I knew: who is my fanbase going to be over there?” Kelly continued. “I knew who my fans were and I knew that my Fox viewers were not going to follow me to CNN and that the CNN viewers were going to hate my guts.”

She explained that Wallace is “suffering from that very problem right now.”

Chris Wallace left Fox News for a sinking ship at CNN and now his career is paying the price as he toils away on a show no one watches.
