Megyn Kelly lit up her show this week with the best news she's heard in years.
Democrats are seriously considering sending the same candidate – the one who burned through a billion dollars in 107 days and lost every single swing state – right back out there in 2028.
Kelly's response to the news tells you everything you need to know about where this race is headed.
"Thank You, Democrats"
New York Magazine dropped a headline this week that made conservatives across America smile: "Like It or Not, Kamala Harris Is the Front-runner."
Kelly read it on air – barely keeping it together.
"You go, girl," she told Kamala directly. "You got this. Don't believe the naysayers."
"Despite cackling through a billion dollars in 107 days, only to fail by losing every single swing state, the Democrats are seriously considering giving Kamala Harris another shot," Kelly said. "I love them so much. Thank you, Democrats."
She's not wrong to celebrate.
A new Quantus Insights poll shows Harris pulling 35 percent of Democrat primary voters – nearly double Gavin Newsom's 17.7 percent – with Pete Buttigieg at 12.9 and AOC at 11.1.
Harris told the National Action Network convention in April she's "thinking about it" and will "keep you posted."
Her camp's working theory is that voters never really got to know her – that 107 days wasn't enough time to make the case.

She lost all seven swing states by between one and six points, and her team thinks the problem was the calendar.
The Last Time Democrats Did This, It Was 1956
Here's what's extraordinary about the Democrat Party right now: they are about to do something they haven't done in 70 years.
The last time Democrats nominated the same losing candidate twice was Adlai Stevenson – who lost to Dwight Eisenhower in 1952 and then turned around and lost to him again in an even bigger landslide in 1956.
A Democrat consultant who worked with Gavin Newsom put it bluntly: "The Democratic Party doesn't renominate losers. The last time we did it was exactly 70 years ago with Adlai Stevenson."
Even anonymous Democrat senators are saying "No" when asked if Harris should run.
One former Harris aide told The Hill the party would be "gambling with a candidate who just lost every swing state" at a moment when Democrats are desperate for a win.
Democrat strategist Alex Hoffman was blunter still: "Because then she will lose, and we will never have to hear from her again. She will never win an election at a national scale. Never."
But the polls say she's the frontrunner anyway.
When your party's frontrunner is someone her own people are begging not to run, that's not a primary field – that's a waiting room.
Republicans Should Be Sending Thank You Notes
Kelly knows exactly why conservatives should be giddy about this.
"The more America saw Kamala Harris, of course, the less they liked her as a presidential candidate," she said flat out.

That's not spin – that's what the 2024 map showed in real time.
Harris underperformed Joe Biden by 6.8 million votes nationwide.
She lost ground in blue states Democrats hadn't worried about in decades – in Rhode Island, the party's margin shrank from 27 points under Obama to 9 points with Harris at the top of the ticket.
And now Democrats want to run her back out there with four more years of footage, four more years of word salads, and four more years of voters who've already made up their minds.
The Republican 2028 nominee – whoever it is – just got the greatest gift in American politics.
