Netflix already canceled it.
Now it has an Emmy nomination.
Then Megyn Kelly went on air and said something about it that has Hollywood furious.
A Show Nobody Watched Just Got Nominated for Excellence
With Love, Meghan premiered on Netflix in March 2025 and ranked 383rd on the platform's most-watched list in its first six months.
The second season was so unwatched it didn't crack Netflix's top 1,000 titles.
A holiday special fared only marginally better – landing at position 1,015.
Netflix pulled the plug in January 2026.
Then last Tuesday, the Daytime Emmy nominations dropped – and there was With Love, Meghan, nominated for Outstanding Lifestyle Program.
Megyn Kelly's reaction on her Wednesday show was instant.

Kelly called it "quite possibly the actual worst product to hit television over the past five years."
She played a clip of Markle explaining her philosophy: "I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it."
Kelly's response: "Elevate. We have to elevate everything. You can elevate your peanuts and your pretzels by taking them from the store-bought bag and transferring them into a cellophane bag. That's an elevation."
She added: "No, I just want to incorporate these tricks into your everyday life as she prances around in a beekeeper's outfit. Clearly, she's got enough juice left in the can to get an Emmy nomination out of this – which is meaningless, but right on brand for her."
Hollywood Giving Awards to Shows Nobody Watched
Adam Carolla joined Kelly on Wednesday and cut right to the point.
"Nobody gives a s*** anymore because they just hand them out to their friends," Carolla said of Hollywood's awards culture.
He called the nomination "one more step closer to the grave for Hollywood and awards."
Carolla isn't wrong.
With Love, Meghan carried a 38 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News the show was "savaged by critics and widely rejected by viewers."
British broadcaster Helena Chard told Fox News Digital that critics described the show as "bland" and "stale."
The phrase "as exciting as watching paint dry," she said, springs to mind.
Here's what makes the Emmy nomination feel even more hollow – the Outstanding Lifestyle Program category only had five nominees total.
Per Daytime Emmy rules, when fewer than ten submissions compete in a category, no more than 50 percent of entries may be nominated.
With Love, Meghan wasn't competing against lifestyle television's elite.
It was competing against A Different Breed, George to the Rescue, The Motherhood, and The Wizard of Paws.
Viewers on X put it plainly: "The nomination sounds more impressive until you look at what it's actually competing against. My vote is for Wizard of Paws."
The Daytime Emmy Is Not the Emmy You Think It Is
Hollywood is counting on you not knowing this.
The Daytime Emmy and the Primetime Emmy are administered by completely different organizations.
The Television Academy – the group behind the Primetime Emmys – does not even list Daytime Emmy nominations in its official biography database.
Daytime Emmys are run by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences out of New York, and the category is open to streaming platforms, broadcast networks, and even self-published content.
The Hollywood establishment has spent two days letting Meghan Markle call herself "Emmy nominated" without explaining that the nomination came in a category thin enough that half the submissions automatically advance.
Markle celebrated on Instagram: "A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on 'With Love, Meghan' on Netflix. We are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!"

She did not mention the show was already canceled.
She did not mention Netflix had downgraded her production deal to a first-look arrangement.
She did not mention the show ranked behind reruns of her old USA Network drama Suits – which went off the air seven years ago – in Netflix's own viewership data.
Fordwich identified the core problem from the beginning: "There was never a USP – a unique selling proposition. The only differentiator Meghan Markle had in this crowded lifestyle space was marrying a prince. She never earned audience trust."
Martha Stewart built a lifestyle empire over decades of actual work.
Meghan Markle repackaged store-bought pretzels into a different bag and called it elevation.
America didn't buy it.
