Megyn Kelly broke her silence about this surprising rumor about “The View”

Megyn Kelly left TV behind to launch an independent media career as a podcaster.

There’s always been speculation that she could return to TV.

And Megyn Kelly broke her silence about this surprising rumor about The View

Megyn Kelly rumored to join a conservative rival to The View

ABC’s The View is the leading daytime talk show aimed at women.

The show used to have a spot reserved for a conservative host like Candace Cameron Bure or Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

But The View has gone off the rails in recent years with all of the hosts spending their time whining about President-elect Donald Trump.

A website called Read Updated News claimed CBS was creating a conservative competitor to The View that would debut in 2025.

CBS would launch the show called The Morning Right featuring conservative women as the hosts to provide an alternative in the daytime TV lineup.

Former The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck and former Fox News host Megyn Kelly were rumored to be two of the hosts for the new show.

The View has long been a dominant force in daytime television, known for its panel of diverse women engaging in lively debates on hot-button issues. However, its left-leaning stance has often alienated conservative viewers. CBS is positioning The Morning Right as a fresh alternative, offering what they describe as ‘balanced, insightful conversations’ from a conservative lens,” Read Updated News claimed.

Kelly was quick to shoot down the rumor she was returning to television.

“This is a lie. And so is the BS about yours truly and Candace Owens doing a show on CBS. Why on earth would I leave the gig I have??” Kelly wrote on X.

She found even more success branching out on her own with her podcast that’s simulcast on SiriusXM.

Kelly has the most popular conservative podcast and one of the top 10 in the country on the Apple Podcasts chart.

Changes could be on the way for The View

The View might not be getting a competitor with Megyn Kelly, but the show could see changes in the future.

A report from the New York Post said that the show was looking to add a pro-Trump host to provide some counterbalance.

Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly predicted that Disney would take over the show and revamp it because it’s become a cesspool of Trump derangement.

O’Reilly told former Biggest Loser star Jillian Michaels on her podcast that he had been on the show more than 20 times before it became about hatred and anger over Trump.

“Why does ABC News want to ruin their brand by this?” O’Reilly asked. “So Disney is going to have to take The View over. That’ll happen pretty soon. It’s all about emotion for the ladies. They live in a giant New York City emotion bubble. Living in a bubble is not good for anybody. So they hear every time, every place what they want to hear. They believe what they want to believe. It’s a comfort zone. It’s kind of like a little tranquilizer.”

The View could be facing problems in its future even if a competitor doesn’t materialize.
