But she had her bubble burst in the worst possible way.
And Meghan Markle was in tears when Democrats gave her this ego-crushing rejection.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ entrance into the Presidential race created a surge of enthusiasm among Democrats.
Her campaign is following the formula of President Barack Obama in the 2008 Election.
It’s a substance-free affair based on celebrity hype.
Hollywood became ground zero for Kamalamania, with stars falling all over themselves to support the new Democrat Presidential nominee.
The Democratic National Convention (DNC) suddenly became the hot destination for celebrities after it became a celebration of all things Kamala.
Former D-list actress Meghan Markle has long been rumored to be eying a future career in politics.
Paul Burrell – Princess Diana’s former butler – speculated that politics was in her future.
“Meghan has her eye on a bigger gain . . . I’ve always said she has had her eye on politics,” Burrell said.
She attacked former President Donald Trump before the 2016 Election.
A trip to Chicago for the DNC would have given Meghan a chance to hobnob with the celebrity crowd she desperately wishes to be a part of.
There’s just one problem.
Democrats don’t want to have anything to do with Meghan Markle
Harper’s Washington D.C. Editor, Andrew Cockburn, told The Tatler that Meghan likely wouldn’t show up at the convention because no one there wants to have anything to do with her.
“I haven’t heard any rumors,” Cockburn said. “I’m sure she’d like to [be there], but her selling power has really gone pretty rock bottom here.”
“I don’t think she would have much effect,” Cockburn continued. “I doubt she’ll show up at the Convention.”
He didn’t think Democrats, like the rest of the country, held a very high opinion of her.
“I doubt they’d want her there,” Cockburn stated.
And in the end, no one saw hide or hair of Markle anywhere near the affair.
Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, haven’t endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris yet.
Kamala did share one video from Meghan about Black Lives Matter in 2020.
One political Democrat political power broker thinks that she has a future in politics.
Valerie Biden Owens – the sister and close advisor of President Joe Biden – reportedly said Meghan is someone she could back to run for President.
“The more women we have, the better our democratic system will work, with a better point of view, a different point of view and we embrace all women,” Biden Owens said. “We welcome [Markle] to come in and join the Democratic Party.”
Former BBC Royal correspondent Michael Cole told GBN America that Meghan could launch her political career in California.
“She’s made no secret of her political interest from a very young age, and all those interests have been in the Democratic cause,” Cole said. “It has been rumored that maybe she will look towards a political career in California because there has been precedent in the past.”
If she did, Meghan Markle could give Hillary Clinton a run as one of the most unlikeable Democrat candidates in history.
