Mark Cuban has toyed with running for President for years.

The billionaire entrepreneur fancies himself as the next Donald Trump.

And Mark Cuban made one confession about running for President that surprised everyone.

Mark Cuban humbled after opposing Trump in the election

Former Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was one of the top surrogates for Vice President Kamala Harris this election.

The Shark Tank star positioned himself as a counterweight to President-elect Donald Trump as a fellow wealthy businessman.

Cuban made him look like a fool on the campaign trail with embarrassing gaffes like suggesting the women working for Trump were dumb during an appearance on ABC’s The View.

He later apologized for his remarks and announced he would stop talking about politics after the election.

The billionaire entrepreneur was a rumored Presidential candidate in 2020 and the centrist group No Labels tried to recruit him for a third party run this year.

Cuban was confident that he would win the Presidency if he had an NBA Hall of Famer with him on the ticket.

He appeared on The Steam Room podcast hosted by TNT commentator Ernie Johnson and former NBA great Charles Barkley.

Barkley asked Cuban what his reaction was to Trump winning the election.

“It’s like losing the last game of the season. You know?” Cuban said. “It’s a horrible feeling walking off the court. But you’ve got to look forward to next season . . . you can’t dwell on it. You’ve got to think of what you can do going forward.”

He claimed that he didn’t have any hard feelings about the results.

“I care about this country, I live in this country and that’s important to me,” Cuban stated. “It’s not about, ‘I hate this person or that person.’ No. It is what it is. I can’t change it. There’s no reason to get upset about the things you can’t change.”

Cuban guarantees he would win the Presidency

Cuban said the country needed a Presidential candidate who could talk to everyone and told Barkley he had that ability.

He admitted he thought about running for President in 2020 but his family talked him out of doing it.

Johnson asked Cuban if he would run for President if he had Barkley on the ticket with him.

“We’d win, we’d definitely win,” Cuban joked.

“Yes, absolutely, we would win running away,” Barkley said. “No question about it.”

Barkley considered running for Governor of Alabama in 2014.

The NBA Hall of Famer had some harsh words for Democrats after the election.

“I want to congratulate President-elect Trump. Y’all won fair and square,” Barkley said. “And I just want to say this to the Democrats, I’m an Independent who voted Democratic. Do me this favor, shut the f*** up! When you win you get to say what you want to, when you lose you need to shut the hell up.”

Barkley blamed the Democrats’ policies for losing the election.

“People want solutions, they want money in their pocket, they want the border secure,” Barkley explained. “You know what I really want to do? I want to walk into a pharmacy and grab some toothpaste, grab some deodorant, and be out in five to seven minutes. I don’t want all the s*** locked up.”

Donald Trump could inspire more political outsiders to throw their hats in the ring for the Presidency.
