The riots during the summer of 2020 after George Floyd’s death saw the far-left anarchist group Antifa team up with violent Black Lives Matters protestors to burn and loot cities.

Antifa thugs dressed in all black entered cities at night to launch coordinated attacks against businesses and properties.

Democrats are quick to dismiss the idea that Antifa is a well-organized group with a coordinated national effort to lay waste to cities with their violent riots.

President Joe Biden falsely claimed that Antifa is “an idea, not an organization” during a 2020 Presidential debate.

Antifa rioters struck again recently in Atlanta, Georgia at the future site of the city’s Public Safety Training Center for new police officers.

Anti-police protestors called the new complex “Cop City,” protesting the construction of the facility because the new building would cause the loss of trees and train new police officers who they claim are violent fascists. 

Environmental protestors and other left-wing radicals have been camping out in the woods where the facility is poised to be built.

Since December, more than 19 people have been arrested on domestic terrorism charges related to the protests at the proposed facility.

On January 21, a riot broke out at the site after a Georgia State Police shot and killed an environmental activist who had shot a trooper in the chest during an effort to clear out the area.

In response, construction equipment including a bulldozer at the training center was lit on fire with Molotov cocktails by rioters.

Antifa group “Defend the Atlanta Forest” announced on social media a week before that they were planning a “week of action” in response to their comrade being killed by the police and the arrest of protestors.

But Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) put her foot down after the latest destructive attack carried out by Antifa.

On social media, the conservative firebrand announced that she was introducing a new bill to declare Antifa a domestic terrorist organization.

“This is domestic terrorism. It was planned for weeks and announced on social media. Antifa are self-proclaimed communists and consistently organize to attack our government over and over again. They should be taken seriously and not tolerated anymore,” Taylor Greene wrote.

Despite the obvious warning signs of violent reprisal on social media, it appeared that Atlanta’s city government took no action in preparation. 

“Antifa are domestic terrorists and I’m introducing my resolution to officially declare them a terrorist organization . . . ” Taylor Greene added.

Democrat-run cities like Portland, Oregon have let Antifa run amok without any pushback.

Someone is pulling the strings behind the well-coordinated nationwide violence carried out by the group in summer 2020.

While Taylor Greene’s bill has little hope of passing a Democrat-controlled Senate, it could force Democrats to have an uncomfortable conversation about Antifa ahead of the 2024 election that the party would like to avoid.
